Song- Alone Together by Fallout Boy
"I don't know where you're going, but do you got room for one more troubled soul? I don't know where I'm going, but I don't think I'm coming home. I said I'll check in tomorrow if I don't wake again. This is the road to ruin, and we're started at the end. Let's be alone together, we can stay young forever. Scream it from the top of your lungs."

...

...

...

"Himiko."

My eyes flutter open, seeing pitch dark. I blink, forgetting for a second I was blind. My hands search around me and my heart rate increases. All I felt was grass, I couldn't find anyone next to me.
"Kakashi?" I ask, panic leaking through my voice.
"I'm here, Himiko." His hand finds mine, coming from in front of me. His touch instantly puts my mind to ease.
"Where are we?" I ask, as Kakashi pulls me to my feet.
"We made camp." Kakashi says, "We just finished making the tents."
"You should have woken me up, Kakashi." I say, crossing my arms. "I could have helped." He laughs, finger brushing against the dark skin under my eyes.
"How can you say that, Himiko? You can hardly stand, you're so tired." He says, watching me yawn. "You need to rest longer."
"I'm fine." I say, rubbing my eyes. "I'll sleep tonight."

"It is night, Himi-Sensei." Naruto says, voice coming from behind me.
"It is?" I ask, turning around. "What time is it?"
"8:34." Sasuke answers.
"Oh!" I say, blinking in shock. "We should get to sleep! We have to wake up early tomorrow in order to make it to Tazuna's village on time!"
"We're waiting for you to wake up, Himiko-Sensei." Sakura says, "We're figuring out sleeping arrangements."
"There are only three tents." Kakashi says, still standing next to me.
"We'll have to have two people per tent." I say, doing the math in my head.
"No way in hell I'm sharing a tent!" Tazuna complains, yelling at me. I flinch, quickly recovering.
"How big are the tents?" I ask, trying to figure this out.
"We have two smaller ones and one big one." Naruto says, happy to help.
"Tazuna will take a smaller one to himself." I say, forming the arrangements in my head. "Sasuke, Naruto, and Sakura will have to share the big one."
Naruto and Sakura both celebrate, for different reasons. Sasuke tsks, and then Naruto freezes.
"Wait a second... Where will you sleep, Himi-Sensei?" Naruto asks.
"Kakashi and I will share the last tent. There won't be enough room for me in any of the other ones." I say, smiling towards Naruto. "Now that everything is in order, get some rest. We have a lot of work tommorow. Goodnight, Naruto. Goodnight, Sakura. Goodnight, Sasuke. Goodnight, Tazuna-san. I will see you in the morning." I start to walk in a general direction, but Kakashi pulls me in the opposite.
"It's this way." He says, leading me to the tent.
"I knew that.~" I say, pulling my vest off. I put it in my bag, along with my headband and shuriken holster. I slide my shoes off and unravel the bandages, setting them next to my bag. I place my katana down as well, getting ready for bed. After I pull my hair into a messy bun, I feel around for the tent's entrance, climbing inside. Naruto wasn't lying when he said it was a small tent. The space was pretty tight, I could touch each wall with my hands.
"Are you in here, Kakashi?" I ask, feeling around for him.
"Hold on a sec." He says, voice coming from outside. I feel around for some blankets, finding two. I slide into one of them, tucking it to my chin. I hear the entrance open and Kakashi climb inside, zipping it back up. He carefully avoids crawling on me as he moves to his spot. I hear him settle down next to me, our arms pressing against each other even though I'm laying on my side.
"Kakashi." I say, getting his attention. "Before you go to sleep, do you want to know what I saw?"
"Sure, Himiko." He says, "What did you see?"
"There was a bridge." I say, remembering the vision. "It was covered in mist and I couldn't see what was going on. I heard yelling, though. It sounded like a fight."
"Hmm..." Kakashi was quite for a second, thinking. "The bridge could be the one we're going to... We'll have to be on alert."
I nod, smiling up at him. "Thank you, Kashi."
"What for?" He asks, resituating.
"For being here for me. I'm so useless right now, I'm a burden." I say, pointing to my eyes. "Thank you for protecting our team when I can't. And thank you for helping me when I can't help myself."
"You're not a burden, Himiko." Kakashi says, hand brushing against my cheek, brushing away some loose hair from my bun. "It'll be better tomorrow when you're not dead on your feet."
I laugh softly, hand searching for his hand. My fingers brush against his nose, a foot or so away from my face. My fingers trail down his cheek, realizing something.
"You're not wearing your mask!" I whisper yell, feeling around his face. He laughs, hot breath against my hand.
"It's uncomfortable to wear when I'm sleeping." He says, watching me trace his face. Maybe it was the exhaustion that was scrambling my head, but I kept my hand on his face. My fingers scanned, taking in every way. I run my index finger along his eyebrow, feeling the familiar curve. I make my way to his nose, trailing down the slope. My fingertips brush against his lips and he holds his breath. I gently trace the small curves and make my way to his left eye. I carefully trace the scar, feeling the small ridge under my fingertip. My finger trails a little lower and I feel a small bump under his lip, to the left side. It was almost concealed, and I barely felt it.
"What's that?" I ask, whispering softly.
"It's a beauty mark." Kakashi says, his chin moving as he talks.
"A beauty mark?" I ask, yawning. "I want to see it."
Kakashi laughs quietly and I hear his blanket russeling as he pulls it around himself. He's arm settles back down against mine and I yawn again, eyes getting heavy.
"When I'm not blind, Kashi," I say, closing my eyes and settling into my blankets. "You have to show me your beauty mark."
"Goodnight, Himiko." He says, ignoring my demand. I was too tired to say anything, instead I curled up against him, settling into the curve of his body and falling into a deep sleep.

Kakashi's pov.

I wake up with Himiko's arms tightly wrapped around me. Her limbs were thrown in random directions and her hair was a complete mess. Her breathing was soft against my chest and she fit against me like a puzzle piece. A smile findes it's way to my face, tugging at the corner of my lips. I try to pry her off of me, but her grip was too tight.
"Himiko." I whisper, trying to wake her up.
".... Why...?...Toast doesn't go there, Kashi..." She mumbles in her sleep, tossing over on her side. I slide out of her arms, quietly leaving the tent. I'll wake her up when ever we're about to leave...

Time skip!

You!
*Boom!*

We were in a boat, sailing across the water. The fog was thick and I could only see a few feet in front of us. Himiko sat next to me, her hand tight in mine. She's always done that, even when we were kids. When she's blind, she would grab onto my hand or arm and not let go. I think it scares her to be alone in the darkness, it comforts her to be able to feel me next to her. She hasn't said much, her quietness was making me a little nervous. Her knee bounced slightly, showing her own nerves. I tighten my grip on her hand,  showing her I'm still here. Her eyes flicker towards me, flashing me a small smile. I look at Tazuna, remembering what Himiko had said about her vision.
"Tazuna-san. Before we reach the pier, I want to ask you something." I say, gaining everyone's attention. "The men who are after you, I need to know why. If you don't explain, I'm afraid I'll have to abandon this mission as soon as we walk ashore." Himiko tilts her head, listening intently.
"Then I'll have to tell you..." Tazuna says, shaking his head. "Like you said, this is beyond the scope of the original mission. The man who wants my life is a short man who casts a long and deadly shadow."
"A deadly shadow?" I ask, "Hmm... Who is it?"
"You know him. At least, you've heard his name before." Tazuna says, voice dropping. "He's one of the wealthiest people in the world. The shipping magnet, Gato."

Well... Damn.
