Chapter 35 – ".....we good bruh."

Omniscient

Team Breezy were all screaming at the top of their lungs, filling the Los Angeles Staple Centre with their cheers of anticipation and excitement. Beyoncé was sitting front row along with Solange, Michelle, Julez and Blue. They were here to show Chris support as well as their best friend, Kelly. On the other end of the arena, Jay could see a clear view of his wife and daughter. It burned seeing them so head over heels for him but little did her know that things were going to take a drastic turn for the worse.

The lights got low and the band started playing the intro to Chris' song No Filter from his Royalty Album. The cheers got louder as different spot lights lit up. The drums kicked in and that set the whole mood for the night. It was going to be one of the many memorable performances of the weekend.

"I swear I got no filter!"

Chris slowly rose from the bottom of the stage in an MJ inspired jacket made by Balmain. For this weekend, he got three opening jackets made. The fashion was also a major factor of his concerts. He didn't need crazy and bazaar outfits to put on a good show. He was just gonna be himself for that's what his fans loved about him.

The music stopped and fans screamed as they watch him standing in the middle of the stage. The bass kicked in shortly after and he started his spiking dance moves. The way he moved was so smooth and fluid. With every movement, the panel he was dancing on shook. He was unable to feel the shakiness of it since he wasn't rigid. He jumped and did a back flip and landed on his feet. The entire panel rumbled under his feet and with his quick thinking he jumped from that panel and off the stage. The crowd gasped as his stage collapsed. Chris watched in complete shock and discombobulation. He had no idea how that was even possible since it never showed signs of instability during rehearsals.

Within seconds security crowded round him and ushered him backstage just in the case something else was to happen. Beyoncé watched as he passed her by and quickly rushed behind of them until they were in way from the commotion from the crowd. Solange saw her sister walking away and signaled for Michelle to follow her.

Jay smirked as he watched the great work his men did. His smile only seems to grow as he walked from his seat and out of the arena. His SUV pulled up in front of him and he was away from the crime scene.

Everyone from my entire production team was now gathered in front of me in the hallway. I handed the mic that was in my hand to Darren and sat down on the chair a guard had brought for me. I unfolded it and sat down then I placed my head in my hands trying to process what just happened.

I looked up and everyone had a nervous look on their faces. They must be trying to figure out how I'd react and all I could feel was frustration. I breathe deeply shaking my head. This night was to be one to remember and it was off to a real fucked up start.

"I got over 12,000 people sitting out there expecting to see a show and in the blink of an eye, a stage that costs over 30,000 dollars collapses with ease. Can someone care to explain?" I looked around, scanning their faces and they were all clueless. My eyes ended landing on Beyoncé and she looked scared more than worried.

"This is bullshit yo! Shit like this don't fucking happen! We put too much fucking time and energy into this for this fucking shit to happen!" My voice grew louder by the minute. My frustration was growing and it was becoming hard for me to contain. I really wanted to punch something right now.
