I wince as Yuno places me gently on the bed where we're sleeping. Sister Lily rushes in, Father Orsi right behind her, flipping through her Grimoire. She finds a spell to heal my wound and starts working her magic. I let out shaky breaths of exhaustion as I feel the pain starting to subside, however my magic still feels low.

"I've done what I can about the wound, I was able to stop the bleeding, but I can't do anything about the Mana"

"What happened?" Yuno crosses his arms

"This is all because she wasn't careful enough" Bell scoffs. "If it were Yuno, he would have taken care of them lickity split"

"Bell I really am not-"

"Bell enough" Yuno interrupts, then gestures for me to talk

"While chasing the shadowy figure, I tried to use my magic to slow them down, but as soon as I shot light arrows, they disappeared. Next thing I know, I have a dagger in my leg, sucking out my mana and they're running deeper in the forest" I feel a growing headache and I move my hand to cover the light.

"Did you get a good look at them" I shake my head and Yuno sighs. "It's fine, you should have listened to me, but what's done is done. The best thing for you to do right now is to get some rest and recover your Mana. We'll start searching tomorrow morning" The tree of them leave the room, blowing out the candle  in the process.

"Sister where's Nash?" I hear a small voice outside

"Was he taken" Another speaks

"Will he be okay?" This one sounds like she's about to burst into tears

"I'm sure he'll be okay...Yuno and Y/n will look for him tomorrow" Sister Lily reassures them

"Will Miss Y/n be okay?"

"She'll be just fine, she just needs to rest, so please keep it down" The footsteps get lower and lower, until they're no longer heard

'Dammit Y/n' I grit my teeth 'All because you weren't careful. All because of that, Nash isn't here and they're all worried. Some magic knight you are'

I pause for a moment

'Pathetic, you couldn't even save your own family, and on top of that, you ran away. Coward'

My eyes flutter open, my headache almost gone and I sit up. The moon shines through the window, illuminating the room. I gaze outside, seeing the stars light up the dark sky. I don't know how long I'm staring out the window, letting my thoughts fill my head, maybe 2-3 hours. Sighing, I push myself off the bed, putting on my cloak and walking outside. I lean on a tree outside letting the serene environment relax me. I'm sure it'd be much better if none of this was happening, yet the wind gives me an odd sense of peace.

"Can't sleep?" A voice speaks from behind, catching me a bit off guard. I turn around and make eye contact with Yuno

"You could say that....what about you?"

"Just thought I'd get some air. May I sit?"

"I don't know why you're asking but sure" I send him a small smile. "Don't you think the night is nice? It brings an odd sense of peace to me" I close my eyes, my smile getting a bit bigger. "Where's Bell? Isn't she always hanging on your shoulder?"

"Sleeping. When she's out she's out" I let out a small laugh at Yuno's statement. I swear for a second I see a small smile on his face as well. "So what's the real reason your up?"

"I couldn't sleep, you guessed right from the start"

"It's not just that you can't sleep is it? You're thinking about Nash"
