Chapter 10 - Home

A/n: so funny story I was eating breakfast and I realized that I forgot to add something in the last chapter that was kinda important for this chapter so I freaked out and added it. :) So yeah uh read the last 3 lines if you haven't already

"Thank you guys for coming to save us again" Father Orsi hugs Yuno and smiles at me

"Come visit again soon okay?" Sister Lily smiles. "And bring Y/n with you" my cheeks flush at her demand and I turn away

"Only if she wants to" Yuno says with a straight face as usual. "Let's go" 

We get on our brooms and begin to fly back to headquarters. Dozens of thoughts fill my mind and I find myself lost in thought about by realization.

'Have I really fallen in love with Yuno? I mean-whenever he smiles at me my heart skips a beat and he's stood up for me against Bell a few times too. He's really good looking and I mean really-Y/n what the hell are you thinking! He's your squadmate and he can't be anything else! But...what if he could...'

"Y/n"

"Heh?" I cover my mouth as Yuno looks at me in confusion. Bell, once again sticks out her tongue at me.

"You've been staring off for a while is everything okay?"

'Omg he cares! I-STOP Y/N!'

"Y-Yeah everything's fine"

'YOU IDIOT WHY DID YOU STUTTER OKAY MAKE CONVERSATION Y/N YOU CAN DO THIS'

I get closer to him so he could hear me. "So the church...they seemed very lively and warm. Was it nice growing up there?"

"Stay away from my Yuno!" Bell tries to push me but fails

"Bell stop it. And yes, growing up was very relaxing there. We used to help Sister Lily with chores and stuff around the church, Asta and I would also train together" A small smile forms on Yuno's face. "It's probably much different than the way you grew up"

'Ugh I hate having to lie to him!'

"Yeah...my family was taken from me and I kinda had to fend for myself for a while. It's why I'm so skeptical of most people"

Yuno continues talking and I feel a smile start to spread on my face. Suddenly, his voice starts to fade, but I can see his mouth still moving. I furrow my eyebrows, a headache starting to form and my body beginning to feel heavy. I feel my eyes beginning to close and start to fall before Yuno turns and sees my weak state, eyes widened. I slightly hear him desperatly shouting out my name before he catches me and I black out.

~Dream~

Where....am I? Wait....this is the room from my dream a while ago. I look to see the crib empty and a woman standing with the baby in her arms and a man across from her.

"So she's the next holder"

"That's what the witch said"

"If it's true then it's dangerous for her to be here." She stops, hugging the baby tight. "We have her elder sister, we just need to find somewhere for her to be safe" The e/c eyes of the baby seem to pierce into my soul as she reaches out to touch me. I close my eyes again, only to open them a few seconds later, facing the couple with blurred faces

"We love you...I'm sorry" The women starts weeping as they walk away. Everything becomes white and I realize I'm back in my own body

'Where the heck am I?'

"Hello!?" I call, but no response. I run for a while, the white still surrounding me and no end in sight. 

"It certainly has been a while" I turn quickly and see and tale male in a black cloak with a devilish grin on his face.
