The Golden Heart (Yuno Grinberryall x reader)

Chapter 25 - Magic Dance

"Sylph magic: fire spirit dive" my grimoire produced fire that starts to surround me as Kaito and I are unified. Instead of being gold, I was engulfed in red that resembled a fire dragon. Yuno stands beside me in a defensive position as we exchange glances, both nodding our heads. 

"I don't know how we're going to get them out of there" Yuno begins

"But that doesn't mean we aren't going to try" I finish

Yuno then turns to Asta. "Take Mimosa and get back"

Asta then starts laughing which causes me to look at him in confusion. I roll my eyes and mentally facepalm.

'I really shouldn't be surprised, this is Asta we're talking about'

"Like hell I'm gonna let you guys do this alone, jerks"

"Oh well" I shrug. "We tried"

Klaus and Hammon continue to charge their magic as the yellow light around them only glows brighter. I grit my teeth and start to produce my own fire in retaliation. 

"Combination spell: Le Chateau de Verre!"

"That's some crazy spell" Asta's grin grows wider

A smirk also forms on Yuno's face. "That magic is intense"

'If i didn't think these two were psycho before I do now' 

Yuno goes into spirit dive and Asta uses his anti magic form as their expressions morph into serious ones. I let out a sigh, the fire now dancing around me as the attack of our enemies begins to move. The three of us charge forward, as I break out, starting to attack at the sides. We let out battle cries as out magic comes in contact with the contraption created and it is completely cut down. We land gracefully on the ground, turning back to see Klaus and Hammon falling, however the elf, finally moving, makes himself and the two float so they don't hit the ground

'H-How? He's not even using magic' My eyes widen further as he gets closer to the ground, his mana getting bigger and bigger. 

'His mana is so overwhelming...its like its covering us whole'

He begins to walk towards us and I immediately start creating more fire. He looks me dead in the eye, which makes me stop and start to step back. Yuno noticing this, takes my hand in an effort to keep me from doing anything irrational, then takes noticing of my shaking body and almost snow white skin.

"The leader of the eye of the midnight sun...and that sword" Asta breathes 

He grabs the sword pierced into the ground making it turn white in the process. Regaining my senses, I let go of Yuno's hand and take a battle stance, making the fire dance around me once more. Yuno takes the same stance while Asta draws his second sword from his grimoire. In an instant, the elf moves next to Asta, making my blood run cold. 

'How? I didn't even sense his mana? How did he move so quickly'

He takes Asta's sword, raising it up and purifying it. I send my fire to shield Asta and Yuno does the same as the elf swings the sword down in an effort to strike him.

"Asta!" Yuno and I yell as he moves back in order to evade the attack

The elf begins to attack all three of us as we move in different directions. Gritting my teeth, I can do nothing but dodge as quickly as I can. Unfortunately, I only manage to evade most of the attacks . I let out shallow breaths as I feel my mana slowly beginning to be sucked away. Yuno moves up to dodge, but the elf moves quicker and closer to him, making his eyes widen. In instinct I shoot my magic making a fire shield to protect him.  The elf's attention is then directed toward me and in the blink of an eye, he's in front of me, swinging his sword down. I roll left to avoid his attack, but the sword still comes in contact with my arm, causing me to wince. Asta comes flying down and the elf then chases after him, allowing me to have a chance to get up and regain my composure. Asta distracts him by engaging in a sword battle with him and both Yuno and myself begin to circle around him. I feel blood start to drip down my arm but i ignore it and keep moving. Yuno casts a binding spell and I stop moving as the fires grow bigger, taking the form of a fire dragons and beginning to fly around me.
