I let out a deep breath as I walked to the door. I opened it and bumped into Zora, who was on her way out.
"Where you think you going?" I asked, holding her arms to stop her from leaving.
"Let go of me, you animal. I'm leaving 'fore y'all kill me". She somehow managed to push me aside and ran outside.
"Get the fuck back!" I called after her. "Sorry Roddy! But I'm getting the fuck up out this bitch". She flashed me an apologetic smile and ran down the street.
Guess I was doing this alone.
I did a lil breathing exercise and shook the nerves away. Maybe it wouldn't be that bad.
I slowly walked into the house and looked around.
"Baby?"
I didn't get an answer so I proceeded. I walked up the stairs and to her room door.
"Baby?" I knocked softly and opened the door a bit before sticking my head in. She was just on her phone, laying on her bed.
She looked up at me expectantly.
"Uh......I got the uh....drugs and all but they..." I gulped. "....they didn't have the typa candy y-" I stopped talking when I saw her looking at me like....

She was about to speak but I shut the door and ran back downstairs.
If y'all wondering what the fuck going on well.....Alaina just got her period and she's usually bloodthirsty when it's that time of the month.
I used to be able to handle her. Key word being used to.
Now the only strategy I could use to protect myself was to take advantage of her sweet tooth. And that's exactly what I was gonna do.
