"My mama want y'all over for dinner" I said into the phone.
So it's been a week since our park session and allat and I been going over there everyday. My mama said I should invite them over for dinner (after she went off for an hour telling me the dangers of the streets when them lights come on...like bitch I'm twenty, I can handle myself), so that's what I'm doing.
"Forreal? Sure she want us or is she on something?" Wayne asked. "Ion know the fuck wrong with her but she want y'all so you better get your asses here" I said.
"Um...ok. Do we needa bring or do anything?" He asked.
"I mean...I haven't really been thinking bout it but just off the rip..um...Relly needa shave" I said.
"But he don't have-" I cut him off. "His armpits. Them shits hairier than my weave and he like wearing them tank tops too. Tell him to shave" I said. "Ight. Anything else?" He asked.
"Bird needa eat 'fore he get here and eat up all the food. Y'all needa dress nice. Don't be wearing them pants that don't even pull up right" I said. He smacked his lips.
"You asking for too much" he said. "But I ain't even done"
"None of that smoking shit before y'all get here. Y'all needa smell nice cause my mama be roasting everybody. Spray some damn cologne"
"Ight. We gon' try" he said. "Nah. You better do what I said. Shit, dress like you going to church, ion care. But no suits" I said. "Ight. I gotchu. When we post ta come?" He asked. "Bring y'all asses over here by 6. 'Fore them street lights come on. So y'all should start getting ready" I said.
"It's almost 6 nigga. How come you just telling me now?" He asked. "I forgot. Hurry y'all asses up" I said and hung up.
I let out a breath and went to my closet to pick out an outfit. I settled on something lazy cause it was just the guys.

I went downstairs and yet again, did everything while my mama yelled at me.
"I hope your friends nice" she said. "They are" I replied. "Mmmmhmm". Just then, the doorbell rang. I rolled my eyes and went to go answer it. I saw Bree nem standing there. "Ight. Y'all should be more mature. She stay roasting" I warned. "Mane no worries. We gotchu" Winter said.
I was about to talk when I saw Wayne. "Y'all go in. Imma be there inna minute" I said. They nodded and went in. Wayne tried to slither his way past me but I put a hand on his chest.
