Alaina winced as Wayne pressed the ice bag to her wrist.
"It hurt?" He asked. "Fuck you think?" She huffed.
"Aye don't gimme attitude. I told you not to fight her. And whatchu do? You fought her"
"Right. Sorry" she apologized. "But she crossed the line. I had to"
"Yeah I know. It kinda hurts that you got yo shit snapped " he said.
"Aww. You care bout me"
"No. Just don't know how you gon' give me that wristy now". She smacked her lips and pushed him away.
"Boy go on with that" she waved him off and he laughed. "I'm playing. Course I care bout you. You my lil baby"
"I been knew" she blushed. Just then the doctor walked in with a bunch of files.
"How's your wrist feeling Miss Davis?" He asked with a smile.
"Broken" she answered and his smile faltered. "Right. Let's get down to it then".
He turned towards the wall and turned on the film viewer, showing them the x-ray of her wrist.
"Uh....Dr......." She trailed off cause she didn't know his name. "Murray"
"Right. Dr Murray. Why we looking at a chicken bone?" She asked and he laughed. "Oh no no no. This....." he pointed at the snapped bone. ".....is your wrist"
"What?" They asked in unison. "It don't even feel as bad as it look"
He looked at her hand, making her look down at it too. It was super swollen and purple.
"Okay that was a lie" she admitted.
"Anyway...this is where the bone broke in two as you can see. Luckily,when it did, it didn't hit a major artery which could've caused internal bleeding and that would be a whole different story. But you still need to undergo surgery-"
"Surgery? What the hell happened to popping the bone back in place?" Wayne asked.
"That is impossible to do because um....if you notice....the bone broke. A long bone became two different bones. You need to surgery to insert pins that will hold it together long enough for it to heal" he dumbed it down and Wayne cut his eyes at him.
