I don't own any of the characters. All credit goes to the Epic J.K. Rowling of course and always.

Ginny

I met Harry at the pitch along with many of those trying out. He was struggling with trying to keep them quiet.

"Shut it!" I yelled and he flinched slightly.

"Good luck." I tapped his shoulder, walking past him, to the crowd of students trying out, standing beside Ron.

"Alright. Just because you were on the team last year, does not guarantee you a spot this year. Is that clear?" He announced.

"You'll get it, Ron." I tapped his back.

"You think so?"

"Oh, yeah. Don't be yourself and you might just." I gave him a taunt grin and he shrugged me off. I laughed and tapped his shoulder again. We only had two keeper tryouts.

Cormac McLaggin.

And Ron.

They were set on each post after Harry'd already taken three hours to determine the three chasers, and to my luck, two of my favorite girls. Demelza Robins, Katie Bell, and myself. Beaters; Jimmy Peakes and Eddie, who weren't exactly as good as Fred and George but they did well. Harry, himself, was the seeker, of course. Eddie actually made the team. There was a tie between him and Cootes but Eddie had a way with the bat. He wasnt kidding.

The five of us, chasers and beaters, flew into the air with the quaffle high.

"Come on, Ron! You can do this!" Someone screamed from the crowd. I flew around to find that to be Lavender Brown. Hermoine was staring at her, steaming.

Given the quaffle and chance, I flew with my might towards Ron. Going first for Cormac would've set a favorism brand on the Weasleys. Cormac stopped the score. Katie went for Ron and he almost fell off his broom kicking the quaffle away. Flying under and around Demelza, who passed me the quaffle, i set for the shorter hoop on Cormac's side but he stopped that.

After five goals, each. I took a pass from Katie and went for Cormac. Throwing the ball harshly, I waited but watched him fly right to it but somehow he moved unusually away from him, seeming confused as the goal went through. I flippes on my broom watching Demelza throw a shot at Ron, who dropped on his broom by his legs and stopped the quaflle with his head. Atleast he stayed on the broom.

"I need another go." Cormac grumbled as we reached the players' tent.

"Its over, Cormac." Harry shool his head, take off his gloves.

"Weasley lucked out with his sister!" He argued.

"Oh, piss off!" I groaned, taking off my gloves and stacking my broom.

"Cormac. My decision is final. Ron won fair and square." Harry spoke calmly. I headed out, not caring for another word.

"Ginny!" I heard and Eddie was running after me.

"Well done, Ed. You actually made the team." I chuckled.

"I know. It was tough with Cootes but I tried. I like Ron for the keeper but I was still rooting for Nigel. He's my best mate." He shrugged.

"Well, next time, i suppose?" I tapped his shoulder.

"Yeah."

"Ed!" We heard and Nancy and Nigel came running, "Congratulations, you made it!" Nancy spoke reaching us.

"Thank Merlin, yeah." He chuckled.

"Sorry, Nigel. I thought you played really well." I smiled at him.
