The Destruction of Another Horcrux

Harry

"Harry!" I heard as I ran up the main stairs with Luna. I turned to find Ron and Hermoine running through the crowds to me.

"Harry, Hermoine and I've been thinking. It doesnt matter if we find a Horcrux." Ron spoke.

"What?" I was confused.

"Unless we can destroy it." Hermoine added.

"Well we were thinking..." Ron started suggesting.

"Well, Ron was thinking. It was Ron's idea. Completely brilliant." Hermoine radiated.

"You destroyed Tom Riddle's diary with a Basilisk fang, right? Well, me and Hermoine know where to find one." He smirked.

"Okay. Great. But take this." I pulled out the Marauder's Map from my pocket and handed it to Ron, "That way you know where to find me when you get out." And I started running without another word.

Ginny

After Harry disappeared with Luna, Neville asked me to follow after Professor McGonagall.

"So what do we do?" Neville asked her.

"Bridge by the forest, blow it up." Was she all she spoke and i stared wide eyed at Neville.

"Let me get this straight. You're actually giving us permission to do this? To blow it up, boom?" Neville laughed as Seamus and Cho joined us.

"Boom!" She nodded, walking down the main steps of the building to the main courtyard outside. Mum, Professor Flitwick, and Professor Slughorn were on out tail along with many other students.

"Wicked. But how on earth are we gonna do that?" Neville asked.

"Why dont you confer with Mr. Finnigan? As i recall, he has a particular proclivity for pyrotechnics." She suggested.

"I can bring it down." Seamus chuckled.

"Thats the spirit." She waved us off. Neville, Nancy, Nigel and Seamus left and I suggested to join them there in a bit.

"Mum?" I tapped on her shoulder. She was looking worn out already. She gave me a pursed smile, telling me that she was okay.

"You do realize, of course, that we can't keep out You-know-who, indefinitely." Professor Flitwick spoke. I took my mum's hand, not because I thought she was scared but because I was, myself. I felt a presence beside me and it was Ed who shared a look with me and I smiled down at him. He was about to join the students at the front lines when I took his arm and stopped him.

"Well, that doesnt mean we can't delay him." She turned to Professor Flitwick, "And his name is Voldemort. You can say it. He's going to try to kill you either way." Professor McGonagall's bravery and head on attitude had me smiling again.

"Piertotum Locomotor." Professor McGonagall spoke, turning to the school and wavinf her hands slightly. I watched as the mounted cement structures of soldiers started jumping down from the walls to their feet. An actual army rose before my eyes and started marching out the castle in a single motion.

"I always knew they weren't just statues." Ed spoke fascinated. I snickered.

"Hogwarts is threatened!" She called out as they walked to the bridge to the entrance of the castle, "Man the Boundaries. Protect us. Do your duty to our school!" She ordered them as they walked.
