I don't own any of the characters. All credit goes to the Epic J.K. Rowling of course and always.

Ginny

After dinner, I parted ways from the three of them. Hagrid told me that Professor Dumbledore needed to see me immediately.

"I heard about the incident." Professor Dumbledore spoke as I stood across his table.

"They found my house. I couldn't.. do anything." I sighed, feeling exhausted.

"You must rest."

"I'm alright." I nodded, "Is there anywhere you suspect I'll find them?"

He looked at me with a hand under his beard.

"I dont suspect that would be a good idea."

"Professor-"

"Ginverva, I've taken responsibility of protecting you. This vengeful path won't lead you anywhere."

I couldnt argue with him. He wasn't just my practically my Authority but also my Headmaster.

"Professor, i was wondering if I could find that cabinet in Borgin and Burkes?"

"You could pay a visit. But not with a face that will prove your identity. Here." He pulled out a tube from a shelf behind him, "You know what to do." Dumbledore ordered as he paced the study of his office. His blue gown dragged the dust off the wooden floor as his eyes lurked the ceiling for answers, "Oh, and I must suggest to keep this from him."

"I do. But why not tell Harry about this? I could take him with and ease his mind." I questioned. His body froze and he swiveled to me with beard swinging and hair dazzling to his back. The thin twinkles of his little blue magician's hat flipped back as his eyes searched me in surprise.

"Harry is the one who needs to be protected. If we let him know, he wont let it happen. It would be uncertain, the consequences."

He did make a point.

The more that guy knew, the more he was going to put himself in the front row.

"Professor, your hand." I saw the dark dead hand of his.

"Its better now, actually." He looked at it.

"You dont look well." I shook my head at his pale self.

"I'm getting better, Ginerva." I didnt believe him but I had to.

"Alright. Goodnight, Professor." I nodded.

"Goodnight, Ginerva." I heard him before heading out of the office. The gargoyle spiraled down and just when I walked the corridor, Harry appeared at the other end. He'd been weird this year. His eyes would lurk over me like they searched for a clue. Not the suspicious kind but a palpable attraction would form between us.

That kiss played in my head again, but I shook my head and shrugged it off. I'd wanted Harry since I'd learned to develop crushes but since Dumbledore recruited me as an apprentice, I didnt allow myself to give in. He was tempting but I'd given up. That kiss brought up a surge of drowning feelings but if he wasn't willing to talk about, meant he didnt want to talk about it. It was just that simple with Harry.

"Harry." I met him by the end of the hallway where he stood, waiting for me to reach him.

"Hi." His hands rubbed against his robes as he stood draped in them.

"What are you doing here?"

"I was um..." His head looked around and I saw one of his hands go behind his back, letting me catch sight of a parchment sticking out.
