"I'm stuffed." Kana rubs his tummy as a knot forms in the middle of his eyebrows. Tonight, the dinner feels like a big banquet. He just ate the biggest portion his stomach can consume, "every time I went there, they'll always make me eat a lot."

Sam who's driving beside him, smiles fondly and intertwines their hands together. The older than lifts to give a kiss on Kana's knuckles, "I was pleased that you ate and laugh so much though. You seem so happy tonight."

Kana tilts his head to look at the handsome man beside him, "Of course. They are all my special people." he then remembers his interaction with Mrs Pattaya, who now he calls a mother, "And auntie told me to call her mom."

Sam gently squeezes Kana's hand and smiles fondly while continuing to look at the road, "That's great! I'm really happy for you. Don't forget to call her often. She's going to miss you a lot more from now on."

Kana smiles at the thought. To be honest, he didn't expect that he will have another mother figure inside his life. Last time, he only have Sister Maria for the role and that was before his parents broke their contact. Kana thought he will never taste motherly love again after that happened. But time proved him wrong.

Kana hums in response and looks at the older beside him. He squeezes back Sam's hand as a form of affection, "And you are too. You're also one of my special people," he says before smiling widely feeling the fuzzy feeling, "Thank you for always being there for me, Sam."

Sam can feel the heat rise to his cheeks when he heard Kana's words. The butterflies begin to fly in his stomach, inciting and causing his lips to curve up, he is beyond elated. He chuckles as his attention goes back to the road, "Your words just make me feel like the happiest person in the world. Imagine what happens if you say those 3 words to me."

The mention quickly falters Kana's smile. Immediately, the dandelion tenses up before attempting to pull his hand away from Sam. But the latter refuses to let go, continuing to grip while at the same time squeezing it in a soothing manner. But the gesture didn't work as Kana continues to attempt to pull his hand away.

Sam pulls over his Tesla at the side of the road. After stopping, he turns his body towards Kana as the boy is now looking back at him in silence and doe eyes full of alert. Sam let out a soft smile before speaking in a soothing manner, using his deep baritone voice to ease the other's worry, "I know how you feel about those words and I won't push you to say them to me. But... I do want you to understand and feel the true value behind those words. They're endearing and beautiful."

In the one-sided tense silence, Sam slowly lifts Kana's hand and guides it to rest on his fair cheek. Then, the older placed a kiss on the palm before resting back on the other's hold. Sam continues to smile and it causes heat to continue rising inside Kana.

With the sweet gestures and endearing atmosphere, Kana can only stare at the small movements of Sam. How the man's onyx eyes flutter slowly, brushing the long eyelashes against those fair skin that reflects the faint glow of the moonlight. How the thin lips are now curving up, silently relay a feeling that is full of fuzzy meaning. Despite the sharp and angular handsome features, Sam's soft expression feels so delicate and warm in Kana's heart.

"Please, give me a chance to rewrite the meaning of those words to you. I want to let you see... to let you feel... the true meaning behind those words," Sam says and pulls Kana closer, eventually touching their forehead to each other, "Let me erase to engrave another meaning behind those words to you. We can do it slowly, bit by bit, at your own pace."
