Amber Run - I Found

The younger switch on the warm light to brightens up the room as the sky is getting darker, indicating the night has come. The small living room feels cosier as the yellow light illuminate the small space. Kana starts to roll the sleeves of his sweater as he walks to the small kitchen area. The wound has been healing nicely, but they left permanent scars on his already unsmooth skin. Kana always hate to see the sight of his lower arm, but he slowly tries to at least not to be ashamed of it. The scar has turned to be the proof of his struggle, how strong he has become. They are no longer became a shackle for him. Kana smiles as he remembers how Sam gives them pepper kisses, replacing the pain with his affection.

Kana stop his way to open his fridge when suddenly the doorbell rang. He frowns as he didn't expect anyone to visit tonight. Then he suddenly remembers the eventful day a week ago that still haunts the back of his mind. Kana gulp his nervous down as he goes to the door. He slides the chain lock for safety and opens the door slowly. He let out a relieved sigh as well as a warm smile as he sees the man stands in front of it. Kana immediately unchain the lock to open the door wider and throw himself to the older's embrace, earning a chuckle from the latter.

"Seems like someone is missing me," Sam mutters, feeling content with the warm welcome. Kana hums as he pulls away slightly, looking at the adonis feature that he misses so much. He let go of Sam, letting the older in and patiently wait for him to take off his coat and shoes. Once the older is free from them, Kana goes back and hugs the adonis.

Sam smiles at the sweet gesture, he effortlessly lifts the younger, wrapping the latter's legs to his waist and goes to the tiny living room area. Sam makes the younger straddle his lap as he sits on the loveseat. The older let out a chuckle, "My baby koala here has become clingier to his favourite tree, I see."

The younger tighten his embrace as he inhales the older's sandalwood scent that he misses so much, not denying the fact. After feeling content, Kana pulls back and smiles warmly to Sam, unconsciously showing his ethereal feature to the adonis.

The ever-warming feeling finally envelops Sam fully after so long being out there, feeling the coldness of his own world. He misses this feeling so much, the warm feeling of coming back home. Sam gently takes Kana's right arm and stroke the healing cuts with his digits. Then the older lifts up the arm and starts to give pepper kisses to it, helping the younger heal with his affection. He glides his veiny hand to the younger's one and places the latter's palm to his pale cheek. Sam smiles as he feels the warmth of his dandelion through the small contact, "I'm home."

Kana let out a wider smile and leans to give a quick peck to the adonis, "Welcome back."

Sam giggles and nods. He then turns his attention towards the kitchen, where there are knives and pan laying on the counter. Realizing the younger must have to prepare to cook dinner before he arrived. Sam turns his gaze back to the dandelion on his lap, "Should we have a little dinner date outside? We can go for a night stroll after that. I know a place where there are not many people. But don't worry, the food should still taste good."

Kana curve up a smile, sensing the fuzzy feeling in his heart. This is it, The intoxicating feeling that I miss from you he thought. The smile immediately rubs off to the older. The younger nods, agreeing to the older's impromptu invitation, "Let's go then."

The couple arrives at a small Indonesian restaurant with their hands intertwining to each other. Sam is right when he said there are not many people there, Kana can only see 3 people inside, one being a couple and the other is just sitting alone. The older nudge the younger, breaking his daze and pull him inside. They sit at one of the booths that are more secluded than the rest, which is behind a pillar at the far corner of the restaurant.
