The room has turned dark when Sam feels Kana starts to relax his body. His uncontrollable sobbing has stopped, replaced by seldom sniffling and the older's soothing hums. Sam pulls away slightly to look at his dandelion, "Have you calm down?" he asks softly.
Kana put his head to the crook of the latter's neck, and let out a weak hum as a response. The younger can feel the headache painfully throbbing his temple, making him knot his eyebrows. Sam gently lift up the younger while being careful not to graze anything to the latter's bloody arm, and sits him down at one of the high chairs.
He tries to let go of his hold but Kana is still tightly gripping his cardigan. Sam once again embraces the younger while standing, slightly bent down his tall frame and linger his lips on the younger's head as he mutters, "I'm not going anywhere, Eden. I just want to tend your wound. Will you let me go for a moment to get the first aid kit? I promise I will come back to you."
Then he feels the fabric slowly loosened, indicating the younger let go of his grip. Sam let out a faint smile as he kisses the younger's head before letting go. He goes to turns on the light to brighten the darkroom and picks his coat that he tossed earlier to hang it on the stand as well as taking off his shoes. Then he goes to the small bathroom to pick up small towels and a basin of warm water.
Sam goes back quickly and places the basin on the counter as he proceeds to move behind the kitchen island and starts looking for the first aid kit inside the cabinets. Then as he found the kit, he as well takes some ice cubes from the fridge and places it on one of the small towels. Sam immediately goes back to Kana with the kit and towel in his hands. He sits at the other high chair and the younger instantly grip back the older's cardigan with his left dominant hand. His glassy doe eyes stare at the older, not letting him out of his sight. Sam let out a gentle smile at his dandelion, reassuring the latter.
Sam turns to look at Kana's cheek, his jaw clenches when he sees how swollen it is. He tried to hold his own anger and gently place the damp towel on it. Kana doesn't even flinch when the cold towel touches his skin. After some time, he turns his gaze to his dandelion, who now still looking at him with his brown orbs.
"Are you able to hold this, Kana?" Sam softly asks the younger if he's willing to hold the towel. But it seems the younger is in a daze, not hearing the older's question. Sam let out a soft sigh as he put down the towel and turn his attention to the younger's lower arm.
Sam gently lifts it up and use the warm towel to clean the younger's bloody arm. The older tries to blink away his tears, mentally warns himself not to cry because he doesn't want Kana to go panic again.
After it's clean, the older pour alcohol to the cotton pads and start to gently dab it to the younger's wound. Kana let out a hiss as he squints his eyes, trying to hold the pain. Sam grimace as he cleans up the wound, trying as gently and fast as he can, "I'm sorry, Eden. I'll be gentle as possible." the older mutters as he continues to tend the injuries. Once he finishes putting ointment and bandaging it neatly, he lifts the arm and gently gives a series of gentle kisses on top of the bandage.
"There, all done." Sam smiles at Kana, who still silently stare him with his glassy doe eyes.
The older proceeds to treat the scratches that litter on Kana's tanned skin as well as clean his left hand that tainted from the blood. He bit his own lower lip, mentally note himself to not show any negative expression on his face. He's afraid it might affect the younger's emotion if he shows it.
