Chapter Fifty-Four: A Day in the Life of a Scavenger

The next day.... You and your other fellow cast members headed back to the filming location. Today you are going to act out your scenes as Rey on Jakku. Once J.J and the other crew members set up the sets it was time for you to begin acting. ''3-2-1, Action!'' J.J said aloud. You began climbing up the set of the AT-AT walker and had your costume on. You confidently swung with your rope down to the sand. You were panting and took off your goggles that protected your eyes from the grit and sand. You took out the prop of your canteen and desperately drank the last drops of it. You dragged your scavenged pieces across the endless sand dunes of Jakku. 

You got onto the set of your speeder and pretended to ride to Unkar Plutt's place to get your single meal for the whole day. You waited in line with the cameos of the cast until you reached the front of the line. You brought your clean scavenged pieces that you just washed off with the other scavengers. You sat them down on the front desk. ''What you brought me today is worth: one quarter portion.'' You took your portion and headed back to the abandoned AT-AT walker where you lived. 

You mixed up the powder with water for your roll and it magically rose(CGI) and you got your lettuce ready and stratched off another tally mark since the day your parents left. You looked out at the empty desert and ate your tasteless food ravenously after a long day of hard work. After licking the rest of the food off of your bowl, you heard a droid and knew that it was Teedo messing with him. You rushed over and shouted in alien dialect: ''Talem te parkla! Parkla tatana!'' Teedo stopped messing with the little droid. He was orange and white. A BB unit. 

''That's just Teedo. He wanted you for parts. He has no respect for anyone. I'm Rey.'' You said introducing yourself to him. BB-8 bleeped his information to you. ''Classified, really? Me too, big secret.'' You began to walk away from the droid and BB-8 started to follow you. You glared at him. BB-8 stopped and you continued to walk then BB-8 bleeped a question. ''No!'' You whispered in exasparation. You motioned for him to come changing your mind. BB-8 bleeped happily. 

''In the morning, you go.'' ''And cut! That was fantastic, Daisy!'' J.J said clapping. ''Great job, everyone! Tomorrow we'll be working on scenes with both Daisy and John and then we'll head bacl to Pinewood Studios in the morning. Again great job, everyone! Now let's get some sleep!'' You smiled happily and walked towards where Adam was waiting for you. ''You did a great job, Daisy.'' Adam said congratulating you. ''Thank you, Adam.'' You said looking down at the ground blushing slightly. ''Are you looking foward to going back to Pinewood Studios?'' Adam asked you. ''You bet. It is so hot out here in the daytime! The high tempartures are insane.'' ''They sure are.'' Adam agreed with you. 

You and your fellow cast and crew members headed back to the wonderful 5 star hotel. After showering from all of the blazing sun of the UAE and all of the hard work accomplished, you settled down into your comfy queen sized bed and turned off the light. Today has been quite an amazing day. You're so happy that you're going to be a sucessful actress in the Star Wars trilogy of films. And you know for sure that your wonderful soulmate Adam Douglas Driver will be sucessful too.
