Chapter 28.2: Indeterminable
Okay, let me describe our hotel room. It's not a very huge one, it's just exact for the four of us. The living room has a three-seater sofa and two one-seater sofas. There is a cute coffee table beside the door. Our room's door uses a special card to open it. The living room is connected to our kitchen and dining room. When you look at it, it looks so tiny for the guests, but when I got into here, I realized that it's spacious. Behind the round table in our dining room were two doors, which are our bathrooms. And beside the sink is a huge glass door, the view can be vividly seen from here. I pushed the glass door sideways to open it and the fresh air met me as I got to our veranda. The pools and the hot spring can be seen from here.
I walked back inside after closing the door. I went back to the living room. There is a television holder but there is no television on it. Beside the big divider cabinet was the door for our bedroom. The two queen sized beds where we will sleep later were joined together by the three of them. I was amazed by their strength knowing how big the beds are.
I watched them dive onto the bed.
"Uh! Parang bakasyon lang pala 'to! Ang saya!" Audrey, beside Demi said while shaking her feet on the air.
"Mas masaya sana if may swimming," Iryn said. She rolled para makahiga siya nang ayos. I just walked towards the bed to lay down beside her on the leftmost part of the bed. I closed my eyes to sleep pero biglang nagsalita si Audrey.
"Hoy, anong meron sa inyo ni Matthew?" malisyosa niyang tanong,.
"What?!" It was Iryn's shocked voice. "Anong anong meron?"
"May crush ka ba sa kanya?" Demi spoke, I slightly opened my eyes to see their reactions. Iryn's frowning, Demi's grinning, Audrey's serious.
"Kailangan bang meron para maging gano'n ka-close?" Iryn said monotone, I can say that she's pissed off by their questions. "Sila Brey at Ken nga kanina, sweet din naman pero walang label," she added which made me open my eyes. I caught them staring at me.
"How come that we're sweet? Is that new to you? We've been like that ever since." Oops, did I sound boastful?
"Relax, Brey! Wala kang kaaway," natatawang sabi ni Demi na nasa rightmost part naman ng bed, I just discreetly rolled my eyes and rolled to face the left side of our room. I can hear them talking about something but it's just entering my right ear and making its exit in my left ear.
Nagising ako sa isang malakas na pag-ring ng kung anong bagay rito sa suite namin. Napabalikwas pa ako sa gulat at hinanap 'yon.
I saw an automatic digital alarm clock saying that it's already twelve. Oh, it's our lunchtime!
Mukhang nagising din sila sa tunog ng alarm, pupungas-pungas silang tumayo.
I looked at myself in the mirror in the bathroom. Naglagay lang ako ng konting polbo at lip balm before proceeding outside. The three of them were putting their shoes on, mukhang ayos na naman si Audrey. I took my shoes too to put it on.
"Brey, galit ka ba?" Iryn beside me asked, taking the attention of Demi and Audrey. My brows furrowed as I looked at her.
"Why would I? No, I'm not mad," I said.
"Oh, sure ka? Hindi ako mapakali, eh," she whispered. I gave her a small smile as I tapped her arm.
"Nope, I am not mad, Gabby. Sorry if nasungitan kita, I was just sleepy, kaya gano'n," I said as I tied my shoelace. "Let's go, gutom na ako," I said as I stood up.
