“I am deeply sorry for what happened.” It was tito Benj speaking in front of us. After what happened last, last night, they went here in our house with Tito Leonard. Only Kuya Brent and Ate Marra were absent here. Based on what Ate Shanty said, Ate Marra and Ate Chenie will go to Bohol to have a vacation and to move on at the same time.
I casted a glanced at Vince who’s sitting across me, bowing his head slightly.
“That’s accepted, I am so sorry too. It was Tito Leonard looking intently at Vince.
“Kinausap ko si Brent, he doesn’t want to apologize. Tito Benj looked at us one by one.
“Papa’s right, Tito. May kasalanan ako, I wanted to apologize to all of you too. Lalo na ka---never mind,” he said without looking at us.
“So, are we settled now?” Tito Benj asked, looking at us.
“Yes, we are,” Daddy answered as they all stood up.
I don’t know what’s the purpose of this meeting. Ang nakapagtataka pa eh parang napaka-formal. They could talk casually without wearing such suits. But I understand their points, galing sila sa works nila so they are still wearing those suits.
Tahimik akong bumalik sa kwarto ko kung nasaan sila Demi at Iryn, they were playing with Lotus, my dog. After they knew what happened last, last night, they went here to ask my condition.
“Kumusta 'yong usap? Nagalit ba parents niyo?” Demi asked while looking at a photo album in my shelves.
“Nope, they are the coolest and calmest people I’ve ever know,” I said as I lied down my bed.
“Eh 'yong sa kiss? Totoo ba ‘yon?” Iryn asked, making me sit again while looking at her intently. “What? May masama ba?” she asked innocently.
“Of course it is,” I said while looking away.
“Bakit? College ka na? At hello? She pointed at Demi, my eyebrows furrowed while looking at Iryn.
“Meron na ako.” Demi chuckled while covering her cheeks.
“What?!” I asked. “Meron na kayo? Both?”
“Yup, smack.” Iryn nodded. “Alam niyo na ‘yon. Nakakadiri nga, eh! Aksidente!” She cringes while saying those words.
“Actually it wasn’t really a kiss that you are thinking. It’s not on the lips,” I cleared. Ano ba ‘yan? Napaka-awkward! Kanina kasi ay hinuli nila ako. And nadulas naman ako at nasabi ‘yon which was supposed to be not because it was not that… argh! “And girls, let’s move on. I am not thinking about that anymore, how’s Ken?” I asked.
