So!!! Last chapter had that bomb drop. The question you need to ask yourself is... was he saying this because it was part of the bet, and people needed to believe it was true... or did his honesty slip out?

Chapter 61- He knew

"You cant be serious!" I exclaimed, I had gotten home from school, which Scarlett was unnaturally un-brutal, and hour ago. When my phone went off, I couldn't help but smile. Even though the question still ran through my head, did Tyler really love me?

"Tyler this has to be your most fucked up idea ever!" I huffed, I sent a look to the pile of my homework and sighed.

"I'll be there in ten minutes." I muttered, and hung up. I told Nana bye, and made my way to my car, and drove to Ethan's house. Tyler called me, saying we were all going to a club, not one in the Slums, but a club in the higher end, a rave if you will. Of course none of us were legal to go, but Tyler was nothing, if not rich. And said he paid our way in, as most of our upper-class students do.

The drive to Ethan's was short, and boring. I played my music softly, knowing it was the only amount of silence I would get tonight. Tyler said, everyone should be there, by the time I arrived. When I pulled into Ethan's drive-way I realized, something I should of been dreading.... Eden, Ethan's little sister. (Billy:I will admit I don't know if I named her... Eden it is). Although, no amount of sulking, would of prepared me for what happened.

"Ella!" I heard a violent whisper come from behind the couch in Ethan's living room. Tyler and Ethan were upstairs doing something, and Payson was late. Bud was coming, but would meet us at the club, because he was with Nick right now.

"Eden?" I asked, I moved to the couch, just as she stepped out.

"I need to talk to you. Your kind of manly, and you don't let anyone push you around. So I... I need your help." Her young face was stretched in worry. It was a very odd look, compared to her "I am the princess, your not' look.

"I think Ethan is abusing Payson. But I love Ethan, and I don't want him in trouble, but you should make them break up. Payson is nice... I don't want her to get hurt." She began sobbing, and threw herself in my arms, I heard the boys walk into the kitchen.

"Eden, why would you think that?" I asked, brushing my handing her hair, to calm her.

"Because..." She sniffled, and her bottom lip began to tremble. "Because during vacation a lot of things happened, like I would hear Payson cry, and Ethan would yell." She sobbed, and I felt my hands clench in anger, one at Ethan, two at Payson for not telling me.

"And..." Her voice shook. "And ever since then, Ethan is mean and angry all day, until Payson comes over at night... and then they go to their room, and Ethan yells more, Payson cries... and sometimes she screams. And then when she leaves, he is happy again, and no longer frustrated. I looked for bruises, but I think she hides them. And I wanted to say something, but I thought you could help me. You know, rough him up." I felt the blood drain from my face, leaving me feeling nauseous, when i realized what she was talking about. How do you explain to a child that her brother was fucking his girlfriend, not abusing? Thankfully, Payson and Ethan walked in at that moment, shocked to find me pale, and his sister in tears. Tyler looked extremely confused. Now I did things, I am not proud of, but I had no idea how to explain it... so I went for innocence, and pretended I thought Ethan was abusing Payson too.

'Smack!' The sound of the flesh of my palm meeting Ethan's cheek echoed. I didn't slap him to hard, but enough to make it jerk to the side.

"What the Fu..." He looked at Eden. "...funny bone was that for?" He finished. I glared at him.
