A/N You must excuse my humor, it is very immature, that is why the chapter is named the way it is. Unedited, cause I am lazy and busy. (Not a combination I like).
Song On Side: The Script-Nothing
Chapter 69 - Haha, 69.
The days blurred together, with Nana as my alibi, I had not gone to school. It was listed under 'dental issues'. She lied and claimed my molars were being removed, and I had to have a week of rest. Then claimed I got a 'dry socket' from it, and had to have them do more work. However, I had no such excuses for Mrs.Peterson, whom cornered me after today's Tuesday performance.
"Julliard darling! You look positively beautiful." She gushed. I offered her a smile, even I knew it looked fake, but it seemed the best I could come up with lately. "My son loved your song choice for the day, Scarlett and him thought it was beautiful. It was so nice watching him curled up to her. It seems things are looking up. However, I know you are feeling a little out of sorts. If it is any financial problem, please let me know. I am glad to help." I wanted to leave... soon. But I was not going to throw away my father and I's dream because I fell for a 'friend'.
"I am glad it seems to be going well, I also like the song choice. It was a very emotional song." I had played One Of Us, a song I liked to think was about a struggling christian, who was trying to reason was god a real thing, or was he just another guy walking through history, that was deemed a god. I liked the song, and it had a great piano beat. Well, the one I composed for it. I caught of glimpse of Tyler with a smiling Scarlett on his arm, and pulled out my phone and flipped it open.
"Hey Sis." I blurted, Mrs.Peterson gave me an odd look. I mouthed 'I had it on vibrate.'. "Oh, I am so sorry, I will be there as soon as I can." I sent an apologetic look to Mrs.Peterson, and felt panicky as Tyler approached. "She died?" I said into the empty phone. "That does sound terrible, did you get the driver?" I paused and nodded. " I will be there soon, calm down."
"I am sorry Mrs.Peterson, my sister's cat was hit by a truck, and I must go." Tyler sent me a bright smile, and my throat caught.
"Julliard, I never got to talk to you last week." He sounded very sad about that, I felt bitter. "Its nice to see you, you should stay and chat." I'd rather bend my fingernails backwards than sit next to you, when you with 'her'. I thought harshly
"My apologies son, Miss Annabella must run, her cat was hit my a car, that poor dear." She truly did sound sad, and scurried me off.
"Mrs Peterson. Mr and Ms.Peterson." I sent a nod of goodbye, before leaving. Scarlet was all but screaming with joy, when I called her Ms.Peterson. So was the actual Mrs.Peterson.

"Ella! You have to go! You need to pick up your books, take a few tests, and talk to your teacher about your group assignment!" Nana huffed, clearly at the end of her sympathy rope. I glared at her. Okay, so maybe I was being to dramatic, but I had already lost so much in my life, I was not looking forward to having one more person leave. And I knew that when the conversation came with Tyler, I was going to loose him.
But that is how I ended up here in school. Payson and Bud had still been unseen, but not for lack of trying. I have yet to meet someone as good as I with holding a grudge. But I knew when I saw my best friends, after I was done with the humiliating tears, I would forgive them. Forgive them for working me all the way up to talk to Tyler, and then not warning me that it was going to crush me. There would be nothing to make my pain not suck, but it would of been nice to have forewarning.
