"Do you want me to come over or no?" Kairi asks me through the phone. "No, not today." I say. "Oh, uh alright." He doesn't talk after that. "Kai?"
"Huh?" He says back. "Nothing, you were quiet." He makes a hum, "Well, I gotta take care of some things. I'll talk to you tomorrow. I love you." He says. "I love-." He had hung up. "You too." I finish.
I didn't hurt his feelings, I mean we've been hanging out none stop for the past months. I just want a few nights to myself. I gotten my bath started and I got a text for kairi.
kairi<3: sorry my phone died. see you tomorrow.

-- "Hey, mattia's having a little movie tonight at his house. Wanna go?" Kairi smiles. "Sure, but I don't wanna spend the night at his." He nods his head. "Completely fine. I'll tell him." I kissed him shortly and we walked to the table. Alejandro looks at us weirdly, "What?" I ask him. "You guys seem oddly.. distant." Kairi looks at me, "Nope. We look the same."
"No, I mean usually kairi would be holding your hand or your head would be on his shoulder." He says. "Well maybe she wants space from my clingy ass."
"You're never clingy kairi. Where did you get that from?" I say. "Nowhere? You needs breaks from seeing me all the time. It's not a problem." He laughs. "Sup motherfuckers." Mattia says as he sits down. "Woah, who died?"
"My love language. So, we all going to mattia's?" Alejandro asks. "Yup." I nod my head and took a quick picture of me and kairi.

"Bye guys!" I smile as we walked out of mattia's house. I sigh and just felt a wave of exhaustion hit me. "You seem tired." Kairi pokes my cheek. "Yeah, very much tired." I say. "Do you wanna stay at mine or no?"
"I'd rather stay at mine for the night." He frowns, "Why? You always stay at mine on Friday?" I smile at his expression, "I just wanna be home since I'm never there anymore. Nothing wrong tonight. I was just wanna stay home plus my parents want me home, they texted me earlier."
"Okay, I'll see you whenever." He walked me home and I made sure he made it home safely.
