"Hey, babe." Alejandro said as he hugged me in the hallway. "Hi, baby. Hang on lemme get my laptop and we'll head off to class." I say. He nods his head and put his arms around my waist and laid his head on my shoulder. I felt butterflies when he did that, I always did. My face would heat up and I would feel this giddiness in my soul making me smile a lot more than I used too. So, this is love.

So, this is what makes life divine

"So, i was think we could go to the park around school, just me and you?" He said. "Yeah, meet up at my locker or yours?" I ask. "Yours." He said to me. I nod my head and we continued to write down the notes with our hands together on top of the table.

LAST PERIOD
I was walking to my culinary class when i saw alejandro standing there in front of the class. "Hey, ale. What's up? Aren't you supposed to be at the soccer field?" I question. "I am but I came here to tell you that if you can stay after school with me? Coach told us that we're having practice and if you want you can stay in the bleachers and watch me practice." He said. "Yes, I'll wait for you." I say. "Thank you, but right after we're going to the park." He smiled. "Okay, now get your ass to the field before you get in trouble." I laugh. He gave me a kiss and I felt the giddiness. "Bye." He said as he ran to the field. so, this is what makes life divine?

So this is the miracle
That I've been dreaming of

"I'll see you ladies later." I say to devyn and dess. "Going to see alejandro practice?" Dess asked. "Yeah, he asked if I could come, and I said yes." I say putting up all my journals and books in my locker. "Well, have fun. We'll see you tomorrow." Devyn said. We hugged and said bye and I walked to the soccer field. I saw alejandro and he ran up to me. "Hey, you made it." He smiled. "Of course i did." I say. "Rosario, quit flirting with my daughter and back on the field!" The coach yelled. The coach so happened to be my dad. Alejandro gave me a kiss and ran back to the field. I heard the boys calling him a simp and I silently laughed.

I waited in my dad's office, but I still had a good view of alejandro. I bit my lip every time he made a goal. Just watching him. The way his skin glowed in the sun and at some point he took his shirt off and I couldn't keep my eyes off of him. "Hey, Lauren. Keep your eyes off my soccer player." My dad laughed. "Oh chill out, he's my boyfriend. When is practice going to be over?" I ask. "In another hour, why?" He said as he grabbed more soccer equipment. "Alejandro, promise that we were going to the park after school. But it's going to be late, so I'll just ride with you home." I frown. "Okay, I'll see you in a few, honey." My dad kissed my head and went back to the field.

AFTER PRACTICE
I got out of the office and the boys did their break. Alejandro jogged over to me with a frown, "I'm sorry." He said. "It's okay ale, tomorrow." I said. "Tomorrow." He smiled. I kissed his cheek; he smiled at me and left to the locker room. I grabbed my stuff and went to my dad's car. He was already there, but he didn't let me in. "Come on dad, I'm tired." I say. "Too tired to walk home with alejandro?" He said. "What are you talking about?" I ask. "I'm letting alejandro take you home." He said. "Really?!" I ask with excitement. "Yes, now you guys better be home by 10. It's a 20 minute walk so better be 10." He said. I nod my head and waited for alejandro to get out of the locker room.

10 minutes later

"Hey, what are you still doing here." Alejandro asked. "My dad said you could walk me home." I smile. He smiled back at me and took my hand in his. We started to walk and i couldn't help but look at the stars. They looked so pretty. "Pretty, right?" Alejandro asked. "Oh, yeah. The stars are pretty." I said. We walked in a comfortable silence, once in a while we would say something, but it would fall back into the comfortable silence.

We arrived at my house and I looked at alejandro. "Thank you for walking me home, I'll see you tomorrow." I said. "Yeah, I'll see you tomorrow." He pulled me into a hug and kissed my lips softly. "Goodnight Lauren." He said. "Goodnight alejandro." I say. I stayed in my driveway, watching him walk home.

ale🦋💖: im home. pick you up at 7 for school?

lauren❤️: yes.

ale🦋💖: okay, have a nice night💗.

lauren❤️: you too💞.

I walked inside my house and saw my dad waiting for home at the table. "It's 10:10." He said. "I was making sure he got home safely." I say putting up my jacket. "Leave her alone, Chris. She's a teenager, let her have a boyfriend." My mom said, smiling at me. "Letting go, I'm letting go. Now, what did he say?" He asked. "Oh my gosh, nothing." I laugh. "Okay, is he picking you up tomorrow?" My mom asked. "Yes, at 7." I say. "Okay. It's late honey so go to bed." My mom said. I nod my head giving them both and hug and kisses. "Night guys." I walk into my room, getting my outfit ready for tomorrow, changing into sweatpants and a top. I plugged my phone in and heard a ding!
