Why do you still love me?

"I better not see you with that greaser boy again!" My mom said. My mom caught me and mattia hanging out by the drive in theater. Like my mom always says, "greasers are no good. You're a Soc and he's a greaser. They don't mix" but mattia was different. Different from alvaro, kairi, and alejandro. He was so sweet and had the perfect smile and perfect everything. My mom shouted at him saying he will never me good for me.

I heard a soft knock on my door, "come in." I put a picture of me and mattia under my computer. "I'm sorry for yelling at you but you know the rules. No Soc and greaser are allowed to see each other."

"I know mom! But you don't get it. Mattia is different, sure he's tall, athletic, handsome, and rough faced but he has feelings. He treats me better then any other boy Soc here. Why can't you see that mom?" I say. "Wow, you sound just like me when I was younger. The reason your father isn't around, is because he was a greaser. But he left because he couldn't support us. I just don't want you to go through that." She said. "Mom, it's okay. I'll be okay and if I ever need help, you're always the one I'm counting on." I smile. "Okay, now enough sitting here, go get that boy." She smiled. I got up and ran out the house, running for mattia.

I checked the park, his house, the ally, the greaser hang out and no mattia. I walked to the drive in and saw him sitting there, watching a movie. "Hey." I say quietly. He looks up and smiles softly, "Hey, what are you doing here?" He gets up and walks over to me. "Just wanted to see you." I say. "What about your mom?" He asks. "She's okay with it." I say. "But maybe your mom's right. I'm not good for you and definitely aren't enough for you. You have a huge future and I'm going to be nothing. I don't want to hold you down. I'm just a no good greaser who makes bad decisions! I'm such a wreck and a bunch of shit! My parents are horrible, I sleep at the drive in, my grades are shit. The only good thing I have is you but I'm not enough to fill your heart, y/n. why do you still love me if im everything your mom says?" His voice cracked at the end.

"Hey hey," I put my hand on his cheek, "You are enough mattia. I love you, god how your smile lights up my day, your laugher is so amazing, your body is beautiful, your gorgeous hair, your gorgeous face, soft lips," I pause and kissed his lips softly. "You are my everything mattia, youre not a no good greaser, you're my greaser and that's good enough for me." I say. He looks into my eyes, "God, I love you." He picks me up and gives me a passionate kiss. "I love you more." I mumble.

"Wow, that was beautiful." I heard my mom say. Mattia quickly puts me down and cleared his throat. "Hi y/n mom's, I mean ma'am or Ms. y/l/n." He rambles. "Call me Lillian and god was I wrong about you. I'm so sorry for misjudging you, mattia. You are welcomed anytime over at our house." My mom gave him hug and he hugged her back. "Promise me, keep her happy and safe." She whispers to mattia. "Only thing I promise myself everyday." He smiled.

"Well, let's get going, I'm sure mattia will love to join us for dinner." My mom says. "Of course." He smiled. "Thank you." I whisper to him. "No problem." He kisses my cheek and we walk back to my house.
