I sighed softly, "From the top?" I ask. "From the top."

FLASHBACK

She came home late, once again. "Hey, baby." She said kissing me. "Hey, love." I say giving her a kiss back. She set her phone down and sat next to me. "When are you going to stop?" I ask her. "I can't leave it mattia." She says. "Yes you can, there's plenty of other people who can take over. Please leave it." I beg. "Mattia, i can't leave what made me! I can't leave my family behind. I can't leave it for you." She said.

I felt my heart break a little, "Okay, I understand. Clearly I mean nothing to you so we're done." I say. "No, mattia. I didn't mean it like that." She said. "Obviously you did. I can't make you leave so please leave me." I say again. "Mattia please, we can work this out." She said. "I know we have to keep our relationship private but I can't have you be with other guys who don't know about me. I can't involved with this." I said. I hear her softly sob and got up and left.

I was going to go back and tell her that she can come back for her stuff tomorrow when I heard her on the other line, "Yes, I can go now." She said. "It's a risk I'm willing to take. I'll be fine." She said. I hear her ran off and I just turn off the lights and went to bed.

2:27 am
I got a call at 2 in the morning, "Hello?" I ask. "Hi, is this Mattia Polibio?" I heard a female ask. "Yes ma'am." I say. "Do you know anyone named, y/n y/l/n?" She asked. "Yes." I ask worried. "She's been taken into custody for robbing and stealing over 800k goal and money. If you can please come down to the station." She said. I hung up and went over to there.

"Hi, I'm here to see y/n y/l/n." I say. She gave leads me to the back and I sat down, waiting for y/n to come. She had her mascara all over her face and her hair was a mess. I picked up the phone and she did too. "Hey." She said. "Hi." I say back. "I'm sorry, I should've listened to you." She said as her eyes glossed. "Me too, you should've listened to me and I'm sorry for the situation you're in now." I said to her. "I'm sorry mattia. I love you." She said. "I can't say that." I said. "Please mattia, tell me that you love me." She said. "I can't love someone who didn't give something up for me." I put the phone up and walked out, leaving her there.

FLASHBACK OVER
"Is that it?" They ask. "Yes, I haven't seen her since." I said. It's been 2 years that she's been in prison. "Would you like to see her?" They ask. I nod my head and took me to the back. I waited as she came. Her hair was messy and she had no make up. She picked up the phone, "Hey."

"Hi, y/n." I say to her. "What's up?" She asks. "Nothing, just wanted to see how you're doing." I say. "Well, being stuck here for 2 more years. You get used to it." She said. "How are you doing?" She asked. "I'm doing fine, got promoted." I say. "Congratulations." She said. "Thank you." I say. "I'm sorry for doing this to you." She said. "It's okay, no hard feelings." I say to her. She gave me a soft smiling before having to leave.

I love you y/n, but I had to stop.
