"Kairi, can you get the ornaments from the closet please?" I ask him sweetly. "Yup, just let me finish putting up the lights." I nod my head and continued to put up the tree.
It's Christmas time and it was time for decorations. Kairi had started putting up the lights while I decorated around the house. I had changed the pillows with cute Christmas ones. I had a bowl of candy canes and peppermints on the island and the cookie jars filled with cookies.
I put up some hanging Christmas stuff when I heard a thud. I put everything down and ran to where Kairi was. He was on the floor, "Are you okay?" I tried not to laugh as I helped him up. "Yeah go ahead and laugh." I smile at him, "I'm fine. I finished it though." He turns them on and they looks gorgeous. "Wow, they look amazing." I kissed his cheek and he smiles, "Yeah, let me go get the ornaments." I let him go and walked back to the couch. I fluffed up some pillows and set some blankets on the separate couch.
I was putting up our cups when I came across my grinch mug. I had thought of an idea, 'why not watch Christmas movies?'
I put it up and kairi walks in with ornaments. "Ready to put up the tree?" I nod my head and grabbed the box where the tree was.
-- "Last ornament." I say putting it on the tree. I turn on the tree lights and wow did it look so pretty. "Our ornament goes great with it." He smiles. Our ornament with a picture of us in a white ornament.
I looked around the house and the Christmas vibes were amazing. "I was thinking why not have a movie night? You and me, Christmas movies? Hot chocolate? Christmas pajamas?" I smile. "I'm in, grab our jackets and I'll meet you in the car." I went up stairs and grabbed our jackets.
____ "Got it all?" He asks. "Hot chocolate? Check. Christmas pajamas? Check. Cute blanket? Check. And finally a kiss?" He gives me a look. He rolls his head and kisses me, "Check. Yeah, we're good." He chuckles and we went to checkout.
"I love spending Christmas with you." He whispers in my ear. "I love spending it with you too." I kissed him once more and paid.

"Is it ready?" Kairi asks. "Yup! Is the movie ready?"
"All locked and loaded baby." I came over with the hot chocolate and turned the lights off, leaving the Christmas tree to light up the living room. "Play it." I gave him his cup.
He played it and covered us with the blanket. I put my legs over his and he pulled me close. "I love you." He mumbled to me. "I love you too grinch." I smile at him as he gave me a straight face. "I love youuu."
"I love you too Martha May."
