baby fever.

"Alejandro, why are we at the baby section?" I smile. "I don't know, I was going to get a water and oh no we ended up here." He says. I roll my eyes and he looked at the onesies, "These are so cute." He whispered.

Alejandro has been a little extra this week with baby talk.

"Look at the tiktok I sent you." He tells me. I opened my phone and it was a baby crawling on their playing matt, it was adorable. "That's so cute."

"I know, super cute."

tuesday

"Imagine we just had a crib or a room full of baby stuff by next year? Crazy." He says. "Ale." I looked at him. "I know, I know. We have to take baby steps. Get it?" He laughs. "Yes I do."

wednesday

"Oh my gosh! Babe look!" He shakes my arm and points to the baby in the stroller. "Aw, they're so cute."

"Cute? More like adorable!" The mom notices alejandro looking at the baby and smiles, "You can touch her if you want." Alejandro's eye light up, he touches their little hand and awes, "This is awesome." He tells me. "Thank you, have a good day."

"You too, you'll make a great dad some day." She smiles to him and goes on with her day. "A good dad? We'll see."

thursday.

"I missed you." Alejandro pulls me into a hug and kisses me. "We would make such cute babies. I mean look at me, I'm hot, your gorgeous, it would work out perfectly."

"Yes, alejandro we would make cute babies but not now." He nods his head.

Bringing us to now, in the baby section. He kept looking at onesies and an older lady came up to me. "Oh, are you guy's expecting?"

"Oh no, he just likes looking at baby stuff this past week." Alejandro smiles at me and looks back at the baby stuff. "He seems to be very interested in having one." She laughs. "I know, but I don't think my back is ready to carry a child and we're only 20."

"Well, you do what you please, but talk to him about it." She gives me a warm smile and leaves.

"Let's go ale." I grabbed his arm and lead him away from the baby stuff. "But the boys onesies are so cute! They have dinosaurs on them." He whines. "Alejandro, we need to go home. We can come back another time, preferably in 5 years." He pouts. I kiss his pouted lips and grabbed his hand.

He walked behind me with a hand loosely on my hip. I take a hand off of the cart and put it on top of his.

We had gotten home and I started to put away the groceries.

"Ale, can you put away the milk please? I need to go take out the trash." He whispers a yeah and I want to take the trash out.

I walked back in and alejandro was sitting down on the couch. "Baby?"

"Yeah it's me." I say. "I wanna talk to you about something."

"I think I already know what you wanna talk about." I smile slightly. "Oh, well.." he chuckles nervously and rubs the back of his neck. "I-.. I know I've been much with baby talk."

"Alejandro, if you want a baby, just say you want a baby."

"I want a baby with you. Just imagine it, a little Alejandro or y/n running around our house, playing, calling us mom and dad, and saying how much they love us. And even better, a baby! To hold. A little human in our arms." His eyes light up with the idea of a child.

"I really want one." He says to me. I sigh, thinking about it. Yes, a cute kid. But, back pain, 9 months, and long labor, but Alejandro looks so happy talking about having a kid.

"Maybe, in the future. A year or so, so I can mentally prepare myself for that long 9 months." I grab his hands. "I promise, I'm not going to make you wait any longer." He smiles. I pecked his lips and got up. "Come on, since I feel bad for telling you no, I'm going to make it up to you." He gets up and follows me.

"And what did you have in mind?" He asks as he shut our door. "Just something." I went to the buttons of my shirt and started to undo them.

I heard Alejandro take a short breath in and I know for sure he had a smirk on his face. I slip the shirt off and reached for my bra. I unclipped it and turned my body to him. "Oh yeah, we're having fun tonight."

Yeah, that one night of sex, didn't get me pregnant, thank god.

But sooner, I did eventually get pregnant and alejandro literally was bouncing off the walls when I told him.
