"Sooo, I heard you're having a school dance in a few weeks." Daniel says over the phone. "Yeah, I'm debating on even going. I don't have a date." I didn't hear anything after I said that. "Dani?" I heard them harmonizing. "Prom is only couple weeks away. And I heard you didn't have a date." Daniel sang. "So i thought you would appreciate my song.. of trying to be your date." Jonah sings. "You don't need an invitation, girl. You ain't gonna worry about a thing no more because I got the keys for us." They sang together. "We don't need an invitation, girl." They finished. "As horrible we rhymed and sounded, y/n would you like me to be your date?" Daniel asks. "Of course. Wait, I thought you guys had a thing to do the day of my prom?"

"We are singing grey at your prom, the slow dance. So, I can dance with you and sing at the dance. The boys are coming too, jack's date is ( random name), corbyn's date is (random name), Jonah's date is (random name), Zach's date is Kay, and you're my date. So, we'll arrive 4 days early and BAM, prom." He chuckles. "Thank you guys. And thank you Daniel. I appreciate it."

"We love you!" They said. "I'll text you later on about tux's and dresses. Have a good day at school. See ya!" I hung up and smiles, "They're the best."

A week later

"Do you have a date kairi?" Mattia asks. "Yeah, Veronica. We're going as friends since I'm trying to get her in with Blake."

"Ale?" I ask. "I'm going with Alvaro. As friends so don't get ideas."

"I'm going with mattia. Y/n, do you have a date? I doubt it though because you never go to dances since you never have a date." Vic says. I scoff, "I do have date. Daniel, he called me earlier and gave me a whole song with the boys asking me. The boys are singing the slow song so he'll be with me and sing when he has too."

"That's great." Mattia says. "Yeah, super." Vic smiles. I heard my phone buzz and it was Daniel calling. "I'll see you guys later."

"Hey, Daniel." I say walking away from them. "Hey! Would it be weird if I showed up at your school now with the boys because we got a call 2 days ago to come early?"

"Um a little?" I question. "Well, because I'm right behind you." I turn around and he was there. "Daniel!"

"My little shining star!" He hugs me back. "Where are the boys?"

"Right here."

I smiled and hugged them one by one. "I missed you guys."

"Now, show us where prom is supposed to be."

"Sure, but I have to get my stuff first."

"I'll go with you, boys make sure we have all our stuff and we'll head to soundcheck."

"Where's your stuff at?" Daniel asks. "Cafeteria. Follow me." I grabbed his arm and lead us to the cafeteria.

"Hey guys, I'll call you later alejandro and kairi you're coming over later anyway." I grabbed my stuff. "Who's that?" Mattia points at Daniel. "I'm Daniel. I'm y/n's friend and date to prom. Also one of the singer who's supposed to sing at your dance." He smiles politely. "Y/n wasn't kidding when she said you dyed your hair blonde."

He laughs, "Yeah, I dyed it. Brown is my natural hair color." I saw mattia's jaw clench while looking at Daniel. "Anyways, I'll see you guys later. We need to go Daniel." He nods his head and we walked out.

"So the one who was looking at me weirdly was-."

"Mattia, yes." He nods his head. "Care to catch me up about it?" I sigh, "I will. I have to fill all you guys up anyway."

"I think we have to do more than 1 song. Randy just texted me saying they're making changes." Daniel says and looks at me., "I'm sorry if I won't be able to be with you all night." He frowns. "No big deal. I can talk to kairi or alejandro." He nods his head.
