Flash Back.
At the party. A year ago.

" Seb, I need to steal Satin for a second." Heather drunkenly slurs, her beer breath hitting Sebastian right in the face.

He slightly stepped back, and plastered a fake smile on his face.
This is why he didn't want to come. But he'd do anything for Satin.
The things you do for love.

He watched Heather drag satin up the staircase. For the third time in a row, he was abandoned by his girlfriend.
What a night!

Heather pulled satin into a room filled with other girls. They were seated in a large circle on the floor, beer bottles scattered around them.

" Heyy guys, this is satin. She's here to join the game." Heather says as she plopped down on the floor, dragging satin with her.
Satin waved a hand and the group smiled at her.

" So... What are we playing? It better be good because I just left my boyfriend downstairs alone. It should be worth it!" She says, making herself comfortable.

" Oh it is!" A cutie with dyed  purple hair says. Satin takes her in, her eyes roaming over her. She wasn't that bad.
And she goes on to explain.

" Okay so it's a game I invented. It has no name yet so don't bitch. Any way it's an improved version of spin the bottle. Instead of the whole kissing crap, we switch clothes instead. So we all leave here with a new wardrobe!!! Cool right??" She says as she downs a shot.

" Cool!" Satin says, already eyeing a blonde wearing cool denim jean shorts and a killer jacket. She would totally rock that outfit. Her eyes flick to the cute purse the blonde had slung over her shoulder.

"I would absolutely rock that better than her." She thought to herself.

Her eyes then took in the girl's face.

"Huh! Pretty. But am way prettier. Her cheeks are too big. My high cheek bones are so much sexier." She thinks, satisfied with her assessment.
Her eyes slowly took in all the other girls.
She smiled with satisfaction after coming to the conclusion that she was physically better looking than them.

There was something that no one knew about satin Baker..  not even Sebastian.
She was obsessed with vanity. She had to be prettier, sexier. She had to be the best. Kinda like the evil witch in snow white. Which is why all her friends were less attractive. She had to be better.
This was something she believed she had achieved, well except for one person who seemed to get in her way.

It wasn't even a girl.. but a guy!!! His name was River something. She didn't really care.
Whenever she saw him, she would boil with anger.
There was no way a guy could look better than her! At least not in this life time.
Whenever he would pass by her group of friends, they would talk about his lustrous locks, and captivating eyes! It pissed her off to no end!!
Even guys seemed to appreciate his beauty.
Well except her Sebastian. He was all into her. This pleased her.
She would have to find a way to push him back into the shadows. They couldn't share the same spotlight. He was diming her light. And she couldn't have that. She had to be what everyone talked about. Her captivating beauty and sweet smile.

She's brought back to the present when she heard cheers from the group.
Someone had spun the bottle and they were swapping clothes.

Thank goddess it wasn't the girl with the cool denim!

She had to get her hands on it.
The game continued and she had to admit, It was really cool. She would head home with a whole new outfit.
When it was her turn, she put her all into the spin. The bottle spun around a few times and they all waited anxiously to see who it would point at.
Satin held her breath when it started to slow down.

Come on. Come on. come on!

A wide toothy grin spread across her face when it stopped directly infront of the blonde.
Huh!

"Now that's what I call free shopping" she thought.
She didn't mind losing the dress she wore. It was two years old. It had served it's purpose. It wouldn't hurt. Besides, the blondes get up looked brand new.
She stood up and immediately pulled off her blue dress, eagerly flaunting her curves for all to see.
The blonde did the same, and just like that, she was dressed up in a whole new outfit.
She twirled around for the girls to admire the way the shorts hugged her hips.

" Sebastian will totally love this!" She gushed.

Heather agreed with her. She always did.

The game went on, the group oblivious to the commotion outside the room that would change their lives forever.
A few seconds later, the door was pushed open before men burged in and satin was roughly yanked off the floor, a meaty palm plastered against her mouth. She was dragged out of the room and down the stairs, straight out the back door. The moment she was out, a loud explosion rang out, the sound deafening. She turned, only to see the house engulfed in flames. As she was dragged away scratching and kicking, the only thought that crossed her mind was Sebastian.
He would surely come to her rescue.

And he did.. but it was already too late. As she was thrown into a waiting car at the back of the burning building that immediately sped off into the night, Sebastian was braving the flames to try and save her.
