As Sebastian neared the house, he could already feel the scorching heat from the flames. His skin felt like it was already on fire. He burst through what was remaining of the front door, just bits of wood and suddenly he was engulfed by smoke. He could barely breathe.
"Satin!!" He yelled, "satin!!! "
He could barely see anything through the flames and smoke. He was basically chocking.
He dodged a beem that came crashing from the ceiling bringing down a chandelier with it. Bodies were lying everywhere, others struggling to make it out the burning building..
He saw the stairs and aimed for them, suddenly remembering that the last time he saw satin, she was up those stairs.. thank goddess they hadn't yet collapsed as well. He tried to maneuver his way up, ignoring the pain caused by the flames that touched his skin.. when he got to the top, he realised it was worse than downstairs.. more destroyed.
"Satin!! " He tried again yelling at the top of his lungs. This only caused him to inhale smoke and he broke into a coughing fit. That's when he saw it... A flash of a baby blue dress.. he went in that direction..it was one of the rooms and on closer inspection, the blue color was covered by a huge dresser..
" Ohh goddess!! No no noo please no! " He kept saying as he moved ahead trying to avoid the multiple holes in the floor where the wood had given way.
He got to the dresser and tired to lift it up.. it was heavier than it looked.. with a bit more effort, he was finally able to lift it off the body.
He pushed it aside and fell to his knees pulling the limp body into his arms. Yes it was her, but you could barely recognize her.. her blond hair was matted with blood and severely burned. Her beautiful face too. And her left leg was twisted in an awkward angle. Tears sprung to Sebastian's eyes and down his cheeks...

"Please Wake up baby,. I got you. Please" he begged.
"Satin, please open your eyes.." he cried. Tears and snort running down his face.
He felt for her pulse on the side of her neck, and his sobs grew louder.. noo It couldn't be! She couldn't be. He couldn't even hear a heart beat..he sobbed louder.
Amidst his agony, he barely paid attention to the collapsing ceiling and floor.. he just held onto his beloved's body tighter, trying to shield it from further mutilation. The unforgiving flames scorched his back and arms. But he didn't care.
"Mom, dad..." He sobbed through the mind link.
" Please help me, I need you" he sobbed
"Son what's going on? We can feel your distress all the way here!" His dad replied through the mind link
"Seb what's going on?" That was his mom's voice.
"It's satin.. she's non responsive.. she, sh..she. not waking up. " He hiccuped.
"Where are you?" He could hear his dad's panicked voice in his head

"Th.. the.. pa. Part..  party.. the house is on fire. I couldn't, I couldn't save her dad!! " Sebastian said.

"Oh sweet goddess Seb... Are you hurt! "That was his mom
"Son , pull yourself together and get out of that house,..! NOW"  his dad said sternly.
Sebastian just continued to sob into satins blond hair.
He couldn't move, he seemed glued to the spot as the flames continued to burn away. He didn't feel the physical pain, only the emotional.

"NOW SEBASTIAN DECKER!" his dad's alpha command came through in his head.
It was impossible to ignore an alpha command. His dad's voice snapped him out of his daze, and he lifted his head.. he looked around only to see that the house was minutes away from collapsing. It was a miracle that this corner was still standing. With aching limbs, he got on his feet, bringing satin into his arms, the least he could do was shield her body from more damage.
Looking around frantically for an escape, it finally downed on him there was none... Well except the shattered window. And he was on the second floor. The jump wouldn't be too bad. Or would it. Well he was about to find out.. with that in mind, he clutched satin closer to his chest and calculated the best way out of this new predicament.. the floor boards had begun to give away way too fast.. and the roof was coming down. He had to do this fast. Lowering his head to shield his face from the flames, Sebastian sprinted towards the window and leapt throw it high into the air. With a heavy thud, he landed onto the ground below behind the house. It was a good thing since the front was crawling with cops! Once he gained his footing, he sprinted into the nearby woods without looking back. His car long forgotten. As he raced through the trees, he heard the building finally collapsing to the ground. It was burnt to ashes.
After running in his human form for over an hour, he realized he was in familiar territory.. he was in StreamVille! How he got there, he couldn't tell. He slowed down and came to a stop, in a clearing in the woods, not far away from the community.
Once the adrenaline rush had cooled down, he sunk to his knees , bringing a limp Satin with him. Under the moons clear bright glow, he could clearly see the damage that the fire had done to her. Her face was burned beyond recognition! Her once beautiful blond hair was missing in large spots on her head. It was a terrifying sight. She was like a rag doll that had barely survived a furnace. He held her tighter, lifted his face up to the skies and let out the most heart wrenching sobs!  It felt like his heart was being ripped into two. The pain was unbearable. Tears streamed down his face. He was a broken man.
Sebastian held her limp cold body in his arms, and finally let out a painful howl into the quiet night. It was the kind of howl that told any wolf that he was in pain and agony.
