River Blair.

I was screwed!
That was the first thought that comes to mind when I gain control of my body..
Zane had really done it this time.
Not the satin part, don't get me wrong. I was totally okay with that. He could have ripped her head off and I wouldn't bat an eyelash. It was rather the fact that he'd openly challenged the Alpha.
I reluctantly pull away from Sebastian's lips, eyes still closed. Then take a deep breath and slowly peel them open. I quickly avert my gaze from Sebastian's, not willing to look at him... not after everything Satin had revealed. I was ashamed. I'd planned on taking that information to my grave honestly but now he knew of how I used to stalk him back then. If I didn't die from the Alpha's wrath, the embarrassment caused by my dirty laundry would surely finish me off.

I muster up my fake courage and look at Alpha Donovan.
His eyes were still gold, and he's jaw was clenched so hard the vein in his neck clearly noticeable.

He was definitely pissed!
Zane did love to run his mouth. It's a trait I'd come to realize we shared.
I sweep my gaze across the room, taking in all the shocked faces.. Casper's was the best! His jaw had practically dropped to the ground and I almost burst into laughter. What comes out is a loud snort though.
Alpha Donovan growls so loud I slightly jump and my head snaps back to him.
Sebastian decides to diffuse the tension by explaining why we were here in the first place.
Always the pacifier, that one.

" Dad, what you just witnessed is what we intended to talk to you about. Blair has a wolf. And we believe he's the other wolf talked about in the prophecy."

" Since when. How long?" Alpha Donovan grinds out.

" The farmers market."
" The day we realized we were mates."
Both Sebastian and I reply at the same time.

"Which is which?"Alpha Donovan questions.

" Well it's all the same thing. We realized we were mates at the farmers market." I state.
He eyes me, his gaze scrutinising me. I suppose his intent is to make me cower but it had no effect on me whatsoever.

" That was months ago! And you're just telling me now??" he directs this to Sebastian.

" Blair had his reasons, valid ones. Which I respected, as his mate."

" And I am your Alpha. Remember that next time you decide to not disclose vital information." he snaps before turning his attention to Mr. Sanders.

" Is that all his going to get?? Not even a slap on the wrist?" Satin's voice pipes up, sounding irritated.
I'd actually forgotten she was even in the room.
Alpha Donovan however ignores her and faces Sanders.

" Is it true? What Sebastian just said about his mate's wolf? Is it the one talked about in the books?"

Mr Sanders straightens his posture before giving his much needed input.

" It should appear so Alpha. The mysterious wolf in the books posseses great power. Power no wolf has ever encountered. Which is why I believe River was able to withstand your Alpha pheromones. His wolf is powerful enough to possess his human form. His qualities both physical and otherwise point to the fact that he's indeed the wolf spoken of."

Alpha Donovan simply nods.

" That indeed explains his attempt at asserting his dominance." he says, almost to himself.
These people were talking about me like I wasn't in the room!
I decide to remind them of one fact.

" There's a bit of an issue though. I can't shift."

" What do you mean you can't shift?" Alpha Donovan asks.
