River's POV.

I take in a deep breath and slowly release it.

" I want to see your other form. Show me your Huxembeast." I say.

If Sebastian is surprised by my random request, he doesn't show it. Infact he seems pleased with it.

" I was wondering when you were finally going to want to. Onyx has been worrying himself sick thinking the craziest shit. He's ecstatic right now."

" Am sorry I worried him. It was never my intention. It's been awhile since I've wanted to see it but stuff just kept happening. And I don't want to go into this war without seeing that other side of you. It would pose as a major distraction if I saw your Huxembeast during that fight for the first time." I tell him.

He nods in understanding.

" But first, let's get back and see what plans to make. We need a solid plan if we are to stand a chance against what's coming." My mate says.

" Let's call a pack meeting. That way we can fill everyone in on what's about to happen. There's no point in hiding it. Besides, we need all the help we can get." I reason.

" You're right." Is all he says as he expertly maneuvers the car over a narrow bend.
His eyes glaze over a bit. He was using the mind link.

" I just sent word to the entire pack to gather at the square by 9." he tells me.
I look at the time in the car, it was 8pm. We had about an hour to this meeting. An hour was more than enough for what I wanted to do. Sebastian was high strung like a violin string, I could relieve some of the tension with what I had in mind.

" Stop the car."

" What?" he looks at me confused.

" Just stop the car. You're too on edge to meet your pack. You'll probably scare the shit out of everyone if you appeared looking like that. You need to relax. And I think I know just the right thing to relax you. Don't want you walking into that meeting looking like someone just cock blocked you."

" Well someone did cock block me if I remember correctly." he says and packs the car by the road.
