Chapter 29

Sebastian's pov

I couldn't wait to get home and lay my eyes on him. Oh how I missed him! It's been a week but it feels like a lifetime. I was internally going over what to do when I see him, my options run from kissing him, to a simple hug and maybe a peck on the cheek, or finally a full blown out make out session. The last option was way more appealing than the other two. I was considering it, I just wasn't sure of his reaction to it.
I should probably go with the hug, it's safer. I might get carried away with the other two and that wouldn't be good, Considering I didn't know where he stood regarding taking things to another level.

I'd thought it through while on this trip and I believed I was ready. No, I knew I was ready. I wanted to mark him. I wanted him to wear my mark on his beautiful neck. And In turn, I'd wear his. This process though would require us to fully mate, or in human terms to have sex. Which I was more than ready for by the way. I'd even dreamt about it countless times. I just didn't know if he was ready.

But all this would have to wait till after this raid.

Casper had filled me in on all I'd missed during the council meeting. Apparently I hadn't misheard the part about a pack kidnapping women. We were asked to ally with a few packs and raid said pack. In simple terms, a rescue mission. And we only had two days to prepare.

Bullshit if you ask me!

Two meagre days was little time. Even for an Alpha wolf like me. I needed time to strategize, come up with a plan. Not just go in there guns blazing, or in our case paws blazing.
But the elders said there's no time, it had to done as soon as possible.
That's one of the reasons I hated the council. It comprised of old werewolves who sat in high chairs and dictated how packs should run. They ordered battles they couldn't fight.
Which is why am skeptical. But no one seems to see my point of view. Well except Casper of course.

" I can't believe we are going to attack some pack filled with crazy people in two days! And who kidnaps women in this day and age??" Casper says as he veers his truck into town and I can feel my heart pick up it's pace. I start to gnaw on my bottom lip. I simply couldn't wait to see him.

" Like seriously, these guys could be absolutely dangerous! People who kidnap females are psychopaths!"

I simply humm.

"Are you even listening to me??"

To be honest, I wasn't. My eyes were looking out on the road, counting the number of streets left to reach the dinner. I knew he would be there.
Casper pouts like a little kid when I don't pay him any attention.
Then I see it! The dinner! And something else.. or perhaps a someone?
As we draw closer, I clearly make out the person.

It's him!

My mate was standing just near the huge dinner sign post. He was looking up the road like he was in search of something.

"Wow!! Would you look at that! Isn't that absolutely romantic, he's waiting for you at the road side like your coming back from war!" Casper says as he nears the dinner. A cheeky smile on his face.

He then enters the parking lot, and starts to slow down. I don't wait for him to pack but simply jump out and make a bee line for the boy who currently owns my heart.
He turns and sprints toward me at full speed and I brace myself for the impact.
I open my arms and he practically jumps into them, wrapping his legs around my waist.
As if that wasn't enough, not that am complaining... he slams his lips to mine in a magical bruising kiss.

It was pure euphoria itself.

I turn my head to the side, effectively deepening the kiss.
This kiss was nothing like the others we had shared before. It was raw, extremely intimate, wild and not forgetting passionate. The passion in the kiss was out of this world.
He lets out a soft moan when I softly bite on his lip, the sound making me rock hard. My manhood beginning to throb painfully.

By the time we come up for air, I am dazed. And my poor heart is thundering in my chest. I bury my face in his neck and breathe in his intoxicating scent. And I feel drunk.
And here I was worrying about his reaction to a make out session!

" I missed you. So much." I mumble.

"Missed you more. I was almost losing my mind." he admits as he untangles his legs from my waist.
I step back and take in his appearance, his beautiful eyes are shining with happiness. And I could feel it too. But the other emotion that I couldn't yet identify was stronger. I'll have to figure out what it is exactly.
Am still lost in his gaze when Casper emerges from the car and walks to us.

" Hey beautiful! Can I have one of those kisses you're so generously dishing out?" he flirtatiously asks my mate as he bats his lashes, and I slap the back of his head.

"Ouch! Meanie!" he mumbles as he massages the spot.
But to my surprise, my mate opens his arms and casper walks right into them.

"It's okay big guy, I've got a lot of love to spare." My mate says, before a panicked expression crosses his beautiful face.

I wonder what that was about?

My mate then releases Casper and the breath I didn't know I was holding leaves my mouth.

"So am gonna get going.." casper states, walking backwards.
" Don't forget the briefing Alpha." he says to me.
I nod.

" Make sure he doesn't." he tells my mate.

" He'll be there.. don't worry." he assures him.
I watch him drive off.

How close those two had gotten was making me feel some kind of way. It couldn't be jealousy.. naah.
I trust Casper with my life. And my mate is my mate. He can't be looking elsewhere. The mate bond wouldn't let him.
Am brought out of my thoughts by my mate who's tugging my arm.

" Come, I need to show you something." he says as he leads me towards the trees across the dinner.

"Where are we headed? I ask, eyeing the woods with curiosity.

"In there.." he points to said woods, excitement laced in his voice.
" But you'll have to race me Alpha." he adds before sprinting into the wilderness.

I don't waste time but take off right after him, my excitement matching his own.
