River's POV.

Wake up!

Wake up!!!!!!

Wake uuppp!!!!

WAKE THE FUCK UP!!!

I jolt awake so fast I almost fall off the bed but something that's tightly wrapped around my waist holds me firmly in place.
I look down at what's holding me and realise they are arms..
Said arms shift alittle then tighten their hold. Am lying on my side with my back pressed against a warm entity. This entity was releasing hot puffs of air onto my neck and soft snores. I crane my neck to only see Sebastian fast asleep spooning me. I relax in his hold and try to figure out what was screaming for me to wake up. My eyes take in the time on the wall clock....6am. still too early.

"You idiot!! I knew you were stupid but not this stupid." the voice in my head says.

My eyes widen when my brains start to function!

Oh my sweet goddess!!
Zane!!! My wolf was here! My wolf was here!!!

I mentally do a happy dance.

" Don't do that dance again! I think I just went blind. You look like an uncoordinated giraffe." Zane jokes.

And I can't help but smile wide. I'd missed him. Missed his sarcastic self!

" I missed you too human! But you're slow as fuck!"

" forgive me dearest but my brain doesn't work before 7am." I say.

"What are you! A baby??" Zane exclaims.."don't answer that. I already know you're a freaking man child! I should ask the goddess for another human with normal functioning brains!" he adds.

I gasp dramatically.

"You wouldn't dare!"

"I so would! You're useless. Can't deal with you anymore."

" I love you Zane." I say.

He goes quiet for a moment.

" You're fuckin evil! I love you too and I wouldn't trade you for anything. Am glad we are still together." he says.

Yes!!

" Me and you to the very end?"

"No. Me, you, Sebastian and onyx to the very end." he says with conviction.

I smile so wide my face starts to hurt.

"Do you remember what happened to us?" I ask him once our banter comes to an end.

He goes dead silent.

Sebastian slowly stirs awake. He lets out a small yawn and rubs his eyes. After my talk with Zane, I'd managed to switch positions and now I was facing him with one of my legs between his. He lifts his arm and runs it through his locks before his eyes start to open. He looks at me groggily at first, then as the sleep clears from his eyes, a smile spreads across his face like sunshine.
And I can't help but feel warm inside.

"You're awake." it's a statement.

"Mmhh" is my only response. I couldn't bring myself to say anything. Not when he was looking all godly and shit this very moment.
His smile doesn't falter. It just makes its way up to his eyes and I momentarily lose my breath, my heart melting all over again.
I truly was blessed by the moon goddess. I couldn't thank her enough for pairing me up with this wonderful fine specimen. My eyes drink him in, every detail of his face registers in my mind. He was just so captivating. And he was all mine.
