Can I just say one thing before we get into this chapter?

Thankyou all so much for reading my story. 160 views that may not be a lot to you but I never intended on people other then my friends seeing this to know that 160 people have read it makes me smile. Thankyou as well for all my friends reading this it means so much.

"Your his sister!" Cedric screeched as the pair left their fourth shop of the day.

"Hey hey." Sophie laughed. "That doesn't mean I know what he likes."

"Well he likes Quidditch." Cedric said. "He's Gryffindors seeker."

"Yeah I've heard about that." She said entering Zonkos joke shop. "But while we're here we will get someone else a present."

Her face lit up as she looked around the large joke shop. Shelf's full of unimaginable trinkets. Kids from Hogwarts were running around grabbing everything they could see, mostly first years. She looked around the shop for a while, Cedric on her tail until she picked the two perfect gifts.

Soon after that they left the shop and headed over to the Three Broomsticks. They took a seat inside and ordered their drinks. Cedric a butterbeer and Sophie a simple hot chocolate.

"So who've you got gifts for so far?" Cedric asked taking a sip of his drink.

Sophie looked through her bag before placing it on the chair beside her. "I have, Ron's gift, Ginnys, Hermione's, Fred's, George. Yours and Dracos." She smiled.

"Draco Malfoy?" He asked placing his cup back on the desk. Sophie just nodded taking a sip of her warm drink. "Does Harry know your friends with him, they don't seem to get along."

"It's not really Harry's business, and no. No body does." She said in a hushed tone.

"Well it's not really my place to say anything." He whispered. "And I'm not judging not at all." He threw his hands around. "But Draco and Harry despise each other."

"Thanks for the concern Ricky." Sophie smiled taking another sip.

"Ricky?" He laughed.

Sophie shook her head placing the cup on the desk. "Ced.Ric." She laughed. "Ricky." She watched as the boy giggled slightly before condoling himself. "Hey who are you taking to the Yule Ball?"

Cedric looked around the pub for a second before lowering his head towards the girl. Sophie followed his gaze for a minute and then realised what he was doing, she leaned forward slightly and listened as Cedric whispered in her ear.

"How come you didn't tell me you were going to ask?" Sophie whined sarcastically.

"I don't know." He shrugged. "I didn't really tell anyone."

"Loser" Sophie whispered so he wouldn't hear.

"Who are you planning on taking?" He asked nonchalantly.

Sophie hadn't really gave much thought into taking anyone with her. But she knew she had to, McGonagall told her the all Champions need a date. They would have to dance with for something. The first person that came into mind when Cedric had asked was Fred, but he said the other night he hadn't thought about it ether. He was probably going to take that Angelina girl who he was close with.

"Someone who can dance." She giggled. "I haven't really thought about it."

"Okay so if there was one person you could take who would it be?" He asked as they tracked through the snow back towards the castle.

"Well." She stopped, twiddling her fingers around. "There's someone."

"Ohh Sophie has a crush." Cedric sang poking her shoulder.
