The Weasley's had come round again, this time to stay for the rest of the summer. Fred and George were in and out running their shop and Hermione was with her parents whilst Harry was with the Dursleys. Sophie however refused to talk to anyone, she was cooped up in her room all day and night not having a single wink of sleep, everytime she closed her eyes the image of Fenrir Greyback attacking her would come to her again and scare her half to death. Death. She certainly felt like she way dying, her head was spinning her stomach felt like it was screaming all the time and her ears were ringing, she couldn't process half of her thoughts and instead of doing something about it she lay in her bed staring at the ceiling. Nothing else, she just stared. Sometimes she would cry, silently into her pillow so nobody heard. Remus however was up everytime and telling her she would be okay, she wouldn't see anybody else.

Not Sirius, not Ginny, not even Fred. Some would say she was just taking everything in but Sophie knew why she didn't want to see anyone, whether she had admitted it to herself or not. She was afraid. But it felt wrong, she was always telling Remus he wasn't a monster because he really wasn't but now that the same thing may or may not be happening to her she was scared. She heard stories from Sirius how painful it was for Remus, if not from him himself she still knew. Sophie didn't feel she was ready to go through that, she was only a child. As was Remus when it happened to him, it wasn't fair. No one deserved that.

They had another two days to wait for definite and Sophie felt as awful as ever, she had managed to get about an hours sleep before she jolted up in her bed full of sweat and tears at another nightmare. She couldn't sleep, she couldn't eat or drink, she wouldn't talk to anyone, that was how much this was taking effect on her. Even though she was fighting it as best as she could she couldn't help but feel sorry for Remus, how must he feel about himself if his own god daughter was scared of becoming what he was, although he never showed it. He had told Sophie he will try his best to help her through it and it was sincere.

"Soph." Sirius knocked on the door, first time it had ever been someone other than Remus. He knocked again waiting for a reply that he didn't get. "Sophie please let me in." He begged, Sophie heard him step back from the door but he didn't move from there.

She was sat upright leaning her back on her head board, she had been staring at the end of her bed for merlin knows how long but she couldn't help but want to let him in. Speaking her first words for days she whimpered slightly at the unusual scratchy feeling in her throat. "Come in." She croaked.

Sirius didn't waste anytime, he turned the doorknob quickly and paced over to the girl, taking a seat beside her on the bed. "Sophie, please you need to get something to eat. The Weasleys are in Diagon Alley, Remus has nipped out to take care of something. It's just me here okay." He whispered patting the girls head sympathetically.

The girl nodded hesitantly before following Sirius out the room and down into the kitchen, she could feel her heart pounding against her chest and her legs shaking as she took each step. She hadn't left her room since waking up a week ago she took in the houses scent all over again as she sat down at the kitchen table.

"I don't have much." Sirius confessed, "that's why Molly and the kids have gone out, getting supplies." He smiled. He made up a sandwich for the girl and handed it to her, cheese. He then ran the tap and made a glass of water for her and himself. "Is there anything you want to tell me, just me i won't repeat anything."

Sophie took a bite of the sandwich Sirius had made listening to him ask her questions, she tried to stomach the strange taste before placing it back on the plate. "There's on thing." She smiled, "this sandwich taste horrible."

"Well, what was i expecting." He clapped leaning back into his chair. "Remus told me he's going back to his cottage for the full moon-"

"What, where am i going. He can't just leave me!" The girl interrupted terrified of what was going to happen to herself.
