It wasn't until a week later that Sophie had agreed on the idea of moving households. She was told that Aunt Muriel, Molly's great aunt, would know what was happening to her. Her skin had paled and she had hardly slept, bags forming under her eyes, her lips had chapped and she had hardly ate; revolving in her, face mostly, losing quite a bit of weight.
She woke up that February morning to her door clicking closed, sitting up and looking around she realised it must've been Remus or Sirius as her case had left, replaced with a plate of toast at the end of her bed. Her god fathers signature toast, cut up into four pieces with a different spread on each side. She rolled her eyes before reaching out for the plate and enjoying her breakfast, eating for the first time in a while, how could she say no. It was moony toast.
After finishing up, not able to eat it all, she tumbled to her bathroom followed through her morning routine before dressing in baggy pants and a sweatshirt, if she was going to continue being this sick she wanted to be comfy doing it. Switching the light off she left her room slowly, taking one last look around, the picture book Harry had got her, the necklace Fred had gifted her, along with the promise ring her best friend, Cedric Diggory had left behind. Sighing deeply she let a tear escape her eye and roll quickly down her face, looking at the three items she relived her memories over and over, her hand tightening on the door handle.
"Sophie!" Remus' voice broke through the painful silence, "it's time to go."
Nodding to herself, she wiped her eyes and closed the door, leaving her bedroom for the foreseeable future she journeyed down the stairs. "I'm ready," she spoke softly as she walked into the kitchen, Remus and Sirius stood at the door.
"We'll miss you so much," said Sirius. He stepped forward first, wrapping his arms tightly around the small girl he had come to love so much. He didn't know the next time he would see her, not with the ministry after her, and the Weasleys.
"Ill stick around long enough to see you soon," she smiled as if reading his thoughts. She didn't expect the awkward silence to surface, "sorry", she apologised "just trying to defuse the tension."
"Well there's no tension to defuse," Remus said with a sad smile, he stepped forward, towering over her and wrapped his large arms around her small body. He dug his face into the hair on her head before finding her scalp, giving it a small kiss he tightened his grip on the girl, "I love you."
"Mhm," she just about got out shrinking herself from his hold. "I love you too but I'd love you a lot more if I could breathe."
"Sorry," he said letting go. He stepped back and wiped down his shirt. "Molly's outside, we shouldn't keep her waiting, Arthur's learnt he's got the trace on him," Remus paused letting in a breath of air. "Muriel's is hidden behind some enchantments, once you get behind that they won't be able to track you."
Sophie took in all the information quickly, worried for her friends and their parents that this was going to cause disruption she was about to decline the offer of staying when Sirius stepped forwards. "Shut it, we already know what your going to say," he pointed a warning finger, "your going, end of."
She sighed, then nodded. "I'll miss you," she said one last time before grabbing her case and leaving the married couple alone in their kitchen. The tears were forced back into her eyes as she left the house, the house she had worked so hard in upkeeping and cleaning for them to finally have their own place, the place she felt happiest with her guardians, closest to her parents. She opened the front door slowly relieved to see the small ginger woman stood, her head swaying quickly back and forth in anxiety. Molly smiled as soon as she laid eyes upon the teenager.
"Sophie," she cooed spreading her arms and locking her into a warm embrace. "We must be going now, don't want any un wanted visitors now do we?" She threw Sophie a warning like look, she knew exactly who Mrs Weasley was referring too, Mason. They were keeping an eye out for him, looking for him every other day. However Sophie had already guessed he had gone back to Greyback, deep down she knew it was true; she had a gut feeling they were together again.
She didn't speak to whole trip, just nodded and shook her head when necessary, conversation wasn't needed, especially when they entered the small cottage beside the sands. Molly ushered her into the house, closing the door as soon as they saw it. Sophie hadn't expected the whole Weasley family to be there, all bar Mr Weasley who for some reason must still be working.
"Oh Sophie," George was the first one to speak. Identical to his twin, without the ear he stepped forward wrapping the girl in a tight embrace just like their mother previously had. She didn't hesitate throughout all the greetings, hugging every ginger child that went by. Ron, whom still hadn't returned home as with Harry and Hermione was missed deeply.
Sophie was surprised, to say the least, when Fred stepped forward, wrapping her in a tighter hug then them all. She was taken aback at first, stumbling backwards slightly until she decided not to be angry, hurt, but not angry. She hugged back.
"I've missed you," he whispered into her ear. She didn't reply. "I'm so so sorry, I love you Sophie and I'm sorry I made you doubt that." Once again she ignored it, not feeling the mood to rearrange or argue she let him go. Moving over into the kitchen to join Ginny and Molly mid food preparation.
