Months had flew by, Christmas was nearing now and excited whispers would fill the halls about the holidays that was only a week away. Christmas wasn't the only thing that was on most of the students minds but a new enforced sort of club too.
Dumbledore's Army more formally known as the DA, was ran by Harry Potter and the task at hand was to teach students something they weren't getting in class. Hermione had managed to convince many students that what they were doing was right and once they had met up in the room of requirements a few times a week, people began believing that Voldemort was back and was gaining power again. Harry ran the organisation considering he was the best experienced with fighting against the dark arts ( the dark Lord himself ).
They had all met in Hogshead one afternoon on a Hogsmeade weekend to bring everyone together. The group consisted of many students, mostly Gryffindors joined by Hufflepuffs and Ravenclaws but there was not a single Slytherin in sight. Mostly because no one offered for the Slytherins to join, they didn't trust them what with the new inquisitors squad patrolling the corridors. They were all Slytherins and much to Sophie's dismay, Draco happened to be apart of it.
Today was the last order meeting until after the Christmas holidays which Sophie was spending with Harry at Grimmauld place with Remus and Sirius, the Weasleys and Hermione most likely joining towards the end of the break.
Another thing that was distressing the Potters were they were both having incredibly crazy dreams. Harry had caught Sophie awake one night, sweating in the common room just in front of the fire and had just assumed what it was about. After that the two explained what each other were going through, hearing strange voices in their sleep watching strange events.
One Sophie had been having recently took place in a large library like room, only filled with shelf's and shelf's of crystal ball like objects much like what was displayed in Professor Trewlanys classroom.
There was a group of blurred people holding their wands out defensively in the middle of the room surrounded by a group of also blurred people in black standing in every way of escape. She couldn't and didn't recognise any of them which caused the dream to play over and over in her head throughout the day. Harry was going through the same thing and for some reason at the exact same time because every time it would happen the pair would instantly lock eyes no matter what they were doing.
"So stunning is one of the easiest spells when you put your mind to it." Harry explained pacing around the packed room of eager children with a smile on his face. "We will pair up and one of us will practice the stunning spell whilst the other preforms the blocking spell. Pronounced as 'stupefy' and 'protego'"
Everyone soon spilt up into twos, George had partnered with Lee whilst Hermione was with Ron and Ginny had gone with Neville. Fred grabbed Sophie's hand, snapping her from her thoughts and dragging her to a mat in the far corner of the magical room.
"Ready to lose." He teased taking exactly six steps away from the girl and raising his wand.
"You wish Weasley" the girl smirked copying his action and aiming her wand at him.
"Stupefy!"
"Protego!"
"Hah, better look next time Weasley." Sophie grinned triumphantly after blocking the older students spell. "Stupefy!"
The spell had hit its target and sent the boy flying backwards in the air making him land with an 'Umph'. Sophie fell to her knees in laughter at her boyfriends shocked face, it was his reaction to defeat that made it funny rather then the spell actually colliding with him.
"Well done Sophie." Harry nodded as he walked around the room assessing all the pairs.
"One to Potter zero to Weasley." She grinned helping the boy to his feet again.
