"I didn't think he'd be gone for this long," Sophie was saying as she stared solemnly into her soup. "Is that selfish?"

"You miss your brother," Sirius said wiping the spilled soup from his chin. "What's selfish about that?"

"Selfish that he's out there trying to find a way to defeat the darkest wizard alive and I'm complaining that I haven't seen him in ages," she sniffed.

"Sophie," Remus said taking her hand. "That isn't selfish, you hardly knew him and now your struggling with losing him again, that's not selfish."

"Thanks," she smiled sadly. She took her hand away and wiped the small tears, stood up from the table and poured the remaining soup into a plastic container. "I'll take this down for him."

"Be careful," Sirius warned.

Sophie rose her hand and flicked her ring with a smile, "with this I don't trust I'm not safe."

Remus smiled and Sirius nodded, both of them watching silently as the girl left the house.

The cold air filled her lungs, she held her arm tight to her body as she passed the small field and towards the bunker. Lifting the door open with some strength she lit her wand and descended down the staircase for what felt like the hundredth time.

"I don't want it," a weak voice growled from a dark crevice.

"Trust me you do," Sophie sang. "It's Remus's own and he makes good soup."

"Good for him, the wretched ugly-

"Yeah that's enough," the girl said darkly. "Look come out and eat otherwise you'll starve."

"Bet you wouldn't mind," Mason taunted.

"Look if your going to sit here and make me feel bad I'll leave okay," she said in an annoyed tone. "I wouldn't want you to die in my basement okay, no matter how awful you've been to me and my friends I don't wish death upon you, is that to hard to understand?"

Mason didn't answer. He crawled out from his hiding space, the long chain wrapped around his wrist following. He looked worst then ever before, his face greying without hygiene or sun, stubble mounting his chin and prickling at the left over food. He looked like he was dying, heck he might be.

"Here," she whispered holding out the small container. "It's nice, I promise."

She watched disturbingly as he gulped down the warm liquid as if wanting it to quickly drain. He finished, burped and threw the tub to the side.

"So," he began. "You want to be my friend now? You want someone to talk to now that your gingers have moved? Missing your brother yet?"

"Stop," she shook her head, "just stop, don't go there!"

"Oh I already have Potter!" He snarled, "listen Greybacks after you as it is, your not going to get anyway okay so just stop trying!"

"For your information I'm not trying anything! I'm stuck here if you haven't noticed with you! Someone who has stabbed me in the back multiple times, someone who's made it their life mission to kill me! But that's if you haven't noticed!" She argued. She got up grabbed the empty tub and stalked to the staircase, leaving the bunker as quickly as she could and entering the house once more.

"Ugh why can't he get his arse out of his head!" She grumbled as she entered the kitchen again. "I'm sick of him, sick of everyone."

"Woah okay," Sirius chuckled, "wanna get rid of him already?"

"Yes, oh yes I'd love too!" She huffed throwing herself down in the empty chair.

"Full moon tomorrow," Remus said standing up and clearing the table. "What are we doing with him?"

"Same as usual I expect," she said twirling her finger around. "Or I mean we could just let him go, hope he falls in a ditch and gets stuck."

"Ha ha very funny" Remus bounced his head. "Keep him tied up?"

"Yeah," she said in a long sigh. "I'm off to bed, see you later."

"Goodnight kiddo," Sirius said ruffling her hair as she passed.

"You got a little," she mumbled wiping the side of her chin. "Just, no up, to the side, got it" she laughed.
