Thankyou for your nice words of everybody, I have decided. That this story will be continued, I will not stop writing it I love Sophie too much to let her go😊

King Cross station was always busy when returning back to school, not nearly as busy as it would be on September first but still busy. Some students hadn't even returned home for Christmas so there wasn't nearly as many people here last time Sophie was.

The rest of their stay at the Weasleys went by quickly, before they knew it, it was time to return to school. So throwing all their trunks into the back of Mr Weasley's, light blue, battered car. They set off to London and arrived at the train station shortly afterwards, they proceeded through the building coming to the wall between platform nine and three, and they ran individually through the barrier.

The Hogwarts Express was just as magical as Sophie had remembered since the last time she saw it, it's large body shining in the light and the cloudy steam pouring out the top of it. She followed Harry, Hermione and Ron onto the train dragging their luggage behind her only Sophie's plan wasn't what the others were. Her plan was to see her friend she hadn't seen since Christmas and sit with him.

So parting her way with the trio she continued her long walk down the train until she came face to the backs of a bunch of Hufflepuff fifth years crowding a tall, brown haired, uncomfortable looking boy.

"Cedric!" She yelled snapping his eyes away from the crowd. "Over here." She nodded to her side which so happened to be an empty compartment.

The boy squeezed through the girls apologising whilst doing so before plummeting through the carriage doors and locking them behind him. "Thank god." He sighed throwing himself back into the chair.

"Have some admirers." Sophie laughed. "Have a nice Christmas?"

"Yeah was great." He smiled. "How about you, nice time at the Weasley." Cedric smirked raising his eyebrows.

Sophie couldn't help the little smile that she had and her cheeks glowed a little before she cleared her throat and answered his question sincerely. "Yeah, hey you know Remus Lupin?"

"Yeah, that teacher from last year." He nodded still searching Sophie's face for the rightful answer to his previous question.

"Yup." She nodded. "Well he's my godfather."

"Your." He paused. "Really."

"Yeah, crazy right." She said. "I didn't now if i'd really like the idea of it at first but he's a really nice guy, knew my parents and he's great friends with." Sophie paused, did people know about the whole Sirius Black being Harry's godfather? That was one thing she hadn't been told, and he said something about hiding the first time she had met him. Better to just say nothing on the matter.

"Er Soph." Cedric said snapping the girl back to reality. "Who's he great friends with?"

"Oh yeah erm." She thought. "The Weasleys, he's great friends with the Weasleys." Sophie corrected thinking of the first people that came to mind.

Cedric nodded along. "So the Weasleys." He smiled remembering the conversation they were having about Fred before his twin spotted them. "You spent two weeks with the Weasleys after snogging one of them at the Yule Ball, anything i need to know about?" With a smug face.

"Your disgusting." She giggled. "No of course not."

"Erm no you are, i didn't say anything." He laughed raising his hands in the air defensively. "No more snogging anyone then no?"

"Shutup." She said throwing the 'Daily Prophet' that was lying beside her. "We may have-er-kissed, once or twice." Sophie went red in the face, covering as much of it up as she could with her hands.

"Awe." Cedric sang. "Is Sophie blushing."

"Shut up." She laughed. "How about Ricky, he been up to anything." She smirked. "Spontaneous, these holidays."

"You really are disgusting." He joked. "And no, i mean we've been writing but i haven't seen her since the Yule Ball, she stayed at Hogwarts for Christmas."

Sophie and Cedric laughed a lot on the train ride, similar to the way she spent her first one, and the ones to come. She loved her brother but she always felt like she was intruding when she was always with them, it would've been different if she was sat with the twins with their friend lee or even Ginny and Neville, with a blonde haired girl she was yet too meet. But she was perfectly happy sitting with Cedric, having a friend of her own felt good.

"Welcome students." Dumbledore bellowed once everyone had taken their seats in the Great Hall. "I hope each and every one of you had an amazing Christmas now back to school." He grinned. "Enjoy."

And with that being said, plates upon plates filled themselves with the most food imaginable, deserts were slotted here and there, pumpkin juice at everyone's side. The students dug in happily enjoying their first night back. Sophie loved spending time with the Weasleys at the Burrow but it was no where near as incredible and magical as Hogwarts was.

After the feast all the students were ordered back to their common rooms, following their house prefect through the crammed halls. Sophie said a goodnight to Cedric after leaving the table and waiting for the crowd to ease before heading back to the common room.

So once everyone had just about cleared off Sophie made her way through the halls, up the stairs and then up the Gryffindor tower and through the portrait hole. A journey she had missed loads, even though it's only been two weeks; what would she be like after the summer, even with the Dursley's.

"Night." She smiled passing her friends on the couch.

"Sophie." Harry called just as she reached the first step. She turned her head slightly giving him a smile before he spoke again. "Welcome home."

First nights are always the best ones. You get that feeling of relief of safety, you feel like your finally where you belong. And Hogwarts was where Sophie belonged. She always knew deep, deep down there was something out there waiting for her she just didn't believe. Living with an old, grumpy, cruel bat can do that to you, knock it out of you. Before Hogwarts, before Harry Sophie was a blunt, concealed type of person, she never let anyone in, nobody made her smile or laugh. Nobody gave her the intense sensation of butterflies every time they were around her. Nobody's presence made her feel on edge or alive. But now, now she's where she belongs. She's found all of that in a quarter of a year, from September to January, Sophie has gone from her thick walls barricading her to there just being a fence. A fence she allows people to open, and she's happy about it.

Hogwarts is her home.
