"Sophie!" Harry bellowed at the top of his lungs pacing through the entrance hall and out onto the school grounds, Hermione and Ron following quickly behind him. "Soph!" He yelled again getting closer to the confused trio.

"Speak of the devil." Draco muttered rolling his eyes as Sophie rose from the grass, Mason watched intently as she strode over to her twin brother sending a strange look to the blonde boy as well.

"What's wrong?" She asked after reaching her friends. Ron was clutching his side where stitches had formed from running whilst Hermione was brushing the loose curls out of her face. "Where did you guys run from" she laughed.

"Soph please, do you know anything about Mason, anything he may know about you?"

Sophie's heart dropped like a stone launched into the bottom of a bottomless pit. Did he know about him being the werewolf, did he know she was on a mission. She couldn't stand there for much longer saying nothing, he was staring at her watching every single feature on her face trying to unmask the truth. But she spoke eventually hoping not to sound too suspicious. "Not that I'm aware of." She lied knowing full well Mason could hear every word of their conversation just like she could hear him. "Why what's the matter?"

"Please just hear me out, for once in your life trust me okay." He pleaded placing two comforting hands on her shoulder and gazing right into her eyes with...fear? "Stay away from him."

But before she could answer her brothers request she heard a rustle from behind her, he had got up and walked right beside the two throwing an arm around the girl and smiling sweetly at the company. "Everything alright Potter?" He asked, Draco followed suit and appeared at the other side of them.

"Will be when you leave." He said back bitterly moving his sight from his sister to the boy beside her. "Stay away from her okay."

"What's got your wand in a knot Potter?" Draco sneered involving himself I'm the conversation. "Pretty sure our little Sophie can look after herself."

"She's neither of your anything!" He spat back looking between the two and then back at Sophie. "And don't get me started on you Malfoy, you know full well why I don't want you anywhere near my sister" he forced a look of intimidation and looked down at Draco's left forearm who quickly covered it with his book.

"They're right Harry I can take care of myself you know." Sophie interrupted the small argument, she knew he would be hurt by this but she knew better then to know Dumbledore didn't want people knowing about her mission, why else would he have kept Masons true form a secret. "Look I'll talk to you later okay." She silently begged him to leave, to understand she already knew everything, but Harry couldn't read minds he wouldn't know.

"Fine." He said before turning his back and stalking away, Ron and Hermione both had defeated looks imprinted on their faces, looks of pure horror then it was confirmed to Sophie that those three students knew exactly what Mason Vanity was hiding.

Just over a week had passed, Harry had never brought up the conversation again apart from that night in the common room, the two siblings had a row. But eventually, Sophie had managed to break it through to Harry that she was aware without giving away too much information of her mission as a double agent. Harry had been seeing Dumbledore a lot more, he had discovered where another horcrux was and the two were due to retrieve it tomorrow. Of course Sophie would have preferred Harry to stay at Hogwarts, being well safe and protected here but she knew that wasn't the case, after all why should she be the judge of what he could do but he have no say in what she could.

So on the day of Harry and Dumbledore's mission Sophie awoke early in the morning hopped out of bed and headed to the prefects bathroom for a nice relaxed bath, having gained the password from Ron a couple of nights ago. She grabbed a crimson robe from her own dormitories bathroom and walking through the corridors humming a small tune under her breath. She gazes at the pictures on the walls as she passed looking for a certain one all the way until she found it the small middle aged looking man was a sleep snoring quietly under his breath leaning on the frame. Not wanting to wake is she tiptoed past just outside the bathroom door when the snoring stopped.

"Oi you!" His happy voice rang, even more happier then expected for six thirty in the morning. "Long time no see little Potter, avoiding me?"

"Not at all Felix" she smiled remembering his name from the last time she had ran into him. "How are you today?"

"Was alrigh' before ya woke me." He laughed standing up now to face her. "How's Lupin spoke to him recently, or 'is he still avoiding ya?"

"I haven't spoken to him no." She sighed walking back a couple steps to face him. "But he's not avoiding me he's just busy, missions for Dumbledore."

"S'long as ya alrigh' s'pose" he smiled. "Ya know these paintings have been whispering recently talking about that friend of yours, Mason is it, yeah well they're all tellin' me he's a bad person, on the dark side of this all he is."

"Yeah well, sometimes things are rumours sometimes things are the truth, guess you never know do you until it happens." She said frowning slightly.

"Nah I think different you see." He said loudly puffing out his chest triumphantly. "I recon he's like that Regulus, you see he's always been a nice bloke, used to talk a lot recon he's just trying to get to know the Lord. He's like you though ain't he so wouldn't bet on nothink yet."

"About that Felix, do you think you got the right Regulus, he was mentioned in front of Sirius months ago and he hasn't said a thing." She asked quietly resting on the wall beside the picture.

"That's cos he don't know does he!" He retorted crossing his legs and sitting down on the empty floor of his portrait. "Regulus Arcturus Black he was." Felix smiled. "Good man, my friend he was jus' like yourself."

"So why did he become a death eater in the first place?" She asked intrigued about Sirius's brother.

"Recon it was his families doing, older one got away left him there alone, so they put their faith in him, he just wanted someone to be proud of him didnt he, everyone does really." He said shrugging his shoulders. "No one knows exactly how he died though his plan he said his plan was to find somethink keeping Voldemort alive, somethink if remains so does himself."

"A horcrux?" Sophie asked raising her eyebrows. "He died trying to find a horcrux?"

"Indeed that was his plan." Felix nodded. "How'd you know about them?"

"Erm I read it somewhere I just assumed." She said quickly hoping not to sound too suspicious once again. "Hate to be rude but I must get going otherwise I'll be late to breakfast." She said with a smile and left Felix in his picture and ventured straight into the bathroom.

The marble walls glistened in the rising sun light, the smell of fresh lavender and daisies filled the room flourishing into the nostrils of anyone who entered. There was a large glass tapestry on the wall closest to the swimming pool sized bath holding none other then a beautiful sleeping mermaid. Sophie creeped over to the taps and turned them all on adding bubbles in the mean time.

She stripped down and glided elegantly into the tub placing her robe and fluffy white towel on the side as she went. She had been in here once before with Draco in attempt to figure out the clue to her egg, the egg she had to get from the dragon, in the triwizard tournament, the tournament Cedric was in, the tournament Cedric died in.

There wasn't a day alone that passed by where Sophie didn't think about her best friend. Not one but she had now learned how to control that guilt instead transfiguring it onto the need for helping people, to defeating the dark Lord. For her, for Harry, for Cedric. She would do anything to honour his name as he passed too soon to honour it himself, she loved him, and she missed him. She still does and she forever will. Only hoping he missed her two, that's the reason she had a smile on her face everyday, hopefully he felt what she was doing was right, which it was.
