Thankyou guys for baring with me! I'm back now and I have a few chapters already written up. Today has been exactly a month since I took my break, I can't promise regular updates as I'm piled with coursework and my yard duties atm. However I am trying to keep updating more often. We're nearing the end now and I'm so thankful for all of you guys for reading and staying with me throughout this. It's been great. Enough waffling from me, back to the story :)
"I'm going to miss you so much!" Sophie muffled into the girls shoulder, her ginger hair tickling her forehead.
"I'll see you at Christmas," Ginny said letting go of the girls embrace. "Don't miss me too much."
"You know I will," Sophie laughed, "I wish I could come back with you, I'm going to be the only kid here!"
"You'll have Fred and George." The red head laughed as they descended the stairs. "They drop in enough."
"You think I wanna be stuck here with those two lunatics," she laughed handing over Ginny's shoulder bag.
"Write if you hear anything," Ginny warned stepping out of the front door of the newly built burrow. "I'll miss you." And off she went with her parents to start her fifth year at Hogwarts, Sophie unable to start her last and fourth.
"Did I hear you call me a lunatic?" A voice asked from behind as the door closed. A long, warm arm wrapped around the girls waist, pulling her back slightly, as the voice spoke again, "I'm incredibly offended."
"You are a lunatic," Sophie chuckled turning to face Fred. "You and your identical brother."
"That's where your mistaken," George appeared from the kitchen with a grin. "Technically were not really identical anymore!"
"Yeah thats right, you and your holy head." She had gotten used to George's missing ear, however the dark hole in the side of his head always took people by surprise when they weren't expecting it.
"Shall we do something fun?" He asked jumping across the arm and landing on the soft couch with a 'hmph'.
"Like what?" Fred asked sitting back in the arm chair, Sophie on his lap. "We're home alone, everyone's doing order work and Sirius, soph where is Sirius?"
"We'll because of you," Sophie began, rolling her eyes also. "He wants to be apart of your stupid podcast, so he's gone today with Remus."
"What's his nick name?" George asked sitting up on his elbow.
"Padfoot?" Sophie said looking between the two, "oh you mean for the podcast. Er I'm not sure, probably something to do with the stars?"
"Makes sense" the Weasleys nodded in unison.
"I know," Sophie smiled to herself as she stood up quickly. "We should do some baking."
"You want to bake?" George asked as the girl strolled away and into the small kitchen, grabbing her wand from the mantle on the way.
"Accio cookie mix" she yelled, waving her wand around gracefully. The cupboard door flew open and a small bag flew across the room, followed by a small glass of chocolate chips. "Let's get to it boys."
The three friends spent the rest of the morning, venturing into the late afternoon baking trays and trays of cookies before someone eventually wondered in around dinner time.
Mr Weasley and looking more glum then ever entered the burrow, took of his hat and cloak and walked off up the stairs, maybe to the bathroom, maybe to his bedroom. He had been awfully quiet recently and more gloomy then ever, maybe the idea of something happening to his son and him not knowing, or him being caught and locked up. Anything.
