Exams were going swimmingly, well for Hermione and Sophie that is. The two girls had spent the past week and weekend studying for them so today, when they took their first exam ( transfigurations ) they thought they did pretty well. However Ron and Harry had completely different opinions on the exam.
"One" Ron pouted at lunch. "We've sat one exam and I know I'm going to fail already."
"Well then Ronald you should have studied shouldn't you" Hermione smiled sarcastically before taking a spoonful of potatoes.
"You'll do fine Ron" Harry said in his usual bored voice, his mood had dropped tons sins losing out on quidditch and he was certainly showing it.
"We have charms next then care of magical creatures and then we're done for the day, then tomorrow we have astronomy, herbology and potions." Hermione informed opening up a charms book for extra studying.
"Then the next day we have, ancient runes and arithmancy then muggle studies." Sophie nodded along.
"Leaving history of magic, and defence against the dark arts" Harry rolled his eyes "yay."
"Yay indeed" Ron groaned.
"I wouldn't count on it." Sophie whispered under her breath so no one heard. She didn't know exactly what the twins were up to but they hate Umbridge just as much as she does, and if she had the courage and was in her last year she'd make a prank so good that it would embarrass the teacher for life.
"Oh Neville." Sophie called as the dark haired boy scurried past the group and out of the hall. "I'll catch you guys later." She waved to her brother and her friends before practically running after the plant loving student.
"Neville!" She yelled down the corridor he was walking down. He stopped instantly, turning around to face her he offered the girl a smile.
"Hey" he said standing up straight. "What's up?"
"Can you help me study for herbology?" She asked with puppy eyes. "Please please please please please?"
"Okay okay." He laughed shaking the girls shoulders. "I'll help you but it'll have to be after dinner tonight, I'm on my way to help Luna with charms."
"Ohhh Luna." Sophie sang making the boy blush. "Do you like Luna Neville?"
"I- er no" he obviously lied. "See you later Sophie."
"Bye Neville!"
"Are you sure?" Neville asked her once they had returned from dinner and began studying in the common room. It was full with fifth years reading through books and books trying to cram in extra information for exams.
"Positive." She nodded placing her flash cards down on the coffee table in front of them. "How are you doing in you exams, okay?"
"I hope so." The boy shrugged packing up all of his items. "I mean whatever happens happens but I'm pretty confident I will at least pass."
"I'm sure u will Neville." She smiled watching as the boy jumped up and headed towards the dormitory stairs, "night!"
"Night Soph!" He yelled back before disappearing around the wall.
"Boo!" One of the twins yelled jumping onto the couch and squishing the girl against the pillows.
"Geroff" she grumbled attempting to push the heavy weight from her lap but the boy just wouldn't move.
"Mmm" he moaned lying over the top of the girl and wrapping his arms around her waist. "I'm leaving soon and want to spend time with my girlfriend stop being a bully." Fred whispered into the crook of her neck.
