Harry had made no effort to talk to Sophie since the commotion the pair caused last evening, when she had entered the common room with her hand intertwined with Fred late last night he gave them both a glare and walked up the spiral staircase and into his dorm without saying a word to his sister.
Breakfast was quite awkward because she had refused to sit anywhere near her brother who still wouldn't give her the time of day, so her Fred, George and Lee took the last seat of the table as far away from the trio as possible.
"I know something that'll cheer you up." George whispered quietly as everyone around them began searching through their new year timetable's. "Lunch, meet me Fred and Lee outside the Defence against the Dark Arts classroom, we're gonna raid the corridor with dungboms. You in?"
"I have Defence against the Dark Arts right before lunch." Sophie replied keeping her eyes on the bowl of porridge in front of her, "so don't leave me waiting for the three of you for ages."
"Deal." Lee smiled overhearing the conversation.
"What deal?" Asked Fred who obviously wasn't paying attention to the fact his twin was attempting to cheer his girlfriend up.
"Sophie's in on our prank, we're gonna meet her outside Dark Arts and blow the corridor up, with dungboms." He smiled looking across at his identical other half.
"I can't believe I have my O.W.Ls this year." The girl groaned into her hands, which she was resting her head on. "I have been here a year and I'm taking these big exams."
"At least it's not your N.E.W.Ts." Fred grinned.
"Yeah we have them this year, and we barely passed our O.W.Ls." George added.
"That's because our future's lay outside the world of academic achievement Georgie, now thanks to Soph here." He smiled with a look of adoration towards the brunette.
"Yeah, I haven't gotten around to thanking you yet Soph. It means a lot honestly." His brother nodded.
"So I'm taking it you have quite a bit more money now?" She asked.
"Nope that's not it, we managed to buy the spare lot in Diagon Alley." Fred exclaimed, using his hands more then his voice.
"That's amazing!" She grinned proudly. "Keep your promise."
"Nothing's going to happen Soph, but i promise."
Hours passed and it was finally time for Defence against the Dark Arts, Sophie wasn't really looking forward to it as she already managed to enquire a hatred feeling towards the teacher who loved the colour pink so much. It wasn't personal, she just felt quite odd around her. She walked into the classroom with her head down noticing her brother, Ron and Hermione in front of her. She sat towards the back of the class alone whilst Harry sat beside Ron and Hermione sat beside some other Gryffindor Sophie believed went by Pavarti.
"Galleon for your thoughts?" A cool voice asked from behind her.
"No." She sighed sticking her head in her hands once more. Sophie watched out of the corner of her eye as the boy sat beside her with a smile.
"You sure, you seem a bit...upset." He shrugged.
"I appreciate the concern Draco but I don't wanna talk about my brother being an insane twit." She huffed getting out her quill and ink pot.
"Ah so it's the other Potter." Draco seethed through clenched teeth. Sophie knew him and Harry never got along, and they weren't very fond of each other. Just as Sophie turned and smiled at Draco, having missed her friend over the summer Harry just so happened to turn around and narrowed his eyes at his sister for sitting with the 'enemy' which was what he would call him every time he would catch her hanging out with Draco. "So what's the chosen one done to get your wand in a knot?"
