To his death

So Sophie waited hesitantly those two days. Her foot stammered up and down with nerve every time she was sat, she would bite her nails constantly if she wasn't talking, and she'd play with the hem of her jumper when both her hands were free. She didn't like the idea of moving her brother with death eaters patrolling the streets and Voldemort looking for him; she knew it had to be done, she just wished she could be apart of it.

So when the day finally arrived and the order had arranged one last meeting, one she wasn't allowed to take part in, she made her way to the back garden she had only stood in once before. Three years ago she stood there watching the rims of her heartbreaking letters burn, three years ago she was in pain at losing her bestfriend and now. Now she was being threatened the same thing with her brother, and possibly her boyfriend and maybe even her godfather. Merlin knows what would happen on that mission.

She was stood there staring at nothing for a good ten minutes before a hand was placed onto her shoulder. "Sophie."

Shrugging the hand off she continued to gaze at the wall which was stood at the back of the garden. She didn't even attempt to see who was behind her, she didn't care quite frankly.

"Sophie come on." The voice said again. It was Remus. He had placed his hand on her shoulder once more but due to another shrug it didn't last. "Right then." And he turned on his heel and left.

Sophie felt stupid not saying goodbye to anyone, especially when she knew she might not see them again but she just couldn't bring herself to doing it. Her heart ached every time she looked at the people she loved, the death eaters raiding and attacking anything possible, she couldn't help but fear the fact she may lose them.

A full moon was coming up too, that meant she was on edge, her senses heightened her stomach lurching and her ears ringing, Remus must have felt this way too. Yet he was keeping it cool for her, for Harry he was keeping it under control to bring him to safety.

And here she was pouting. In a mood because she wasn't allowed to do something, acting like a child. Shaking her stubbornness away she turned around quickly and paced back inside through the kitchen and out towards the front door, but it was too late. Everybody had left, leaving her, Molly, Ginny and Sirius alone at Grimmauld place.

"I don't think they'll be too long now." Molly was saying as she walked back and forth around the kitchen. "We ought to get going, we've agreed to meet at the Burrow."

"Why" was all Sophie bothered to say. She had sat on the tattered arm chair all afternoon staring into the burning embers of the fire ignoring anyone who attempted to confront her.

"Because Sophie the burrow has its own enchantments." Molly said picking up another case she had packed. "Let's get a move on."

Not bothering to ask about Grimmauld places enchantments and safety precautions she allowed the ginger woman to usher her out of the living room and onto the streets of London, along side Ginny and Sirius following shortly after.

"Right we'll side apparate," she stated hugging her bags. "Ginny your with me, Sirius are you alright with Sophie?"

"Perfectly fine." He nodded grabbing the side of Sophie's arm and pulling her close.

"We'll see you there." Molly nodded and after a short amount of time she apparated taking her youngest with her.

"Alright kiddo?" Sirius spoke once they had gone letting go of her hand and replacing a smile with a stern looking face.

Sophie shrugged before grabbing his hand again only to watch as he pulled away and crossed his arms. "What?" She huffed, speaking her first words all day.
