"So we have a body in our basement!" Sirius laughed. As soon as the two had returned home Sophie decided to fill them in on her day, leaving out the part that involves a ginger and a hell lot of heartache.

"It's Mason? That werewolf guy who was apart of the death eaters that crashed our wedding?" Remus asked.

"That's the one," Sophie said not even looking up from her book.

"And we're just leaving him there?" Sirius asked, both of them were confused as to why the girl was being so blunt.

"Do what you want with him, he's a death eater, believes that we should be with Greyback and has tried to kill me multiple times," she said very quickly. "Do what you'd like."

"Sophie," Remus said sitting beside the girl on the sofa. "Sophie is that all?"

"Is that all that's happened to me today?" She asked with a laugh, she slammed the book shut and rose out of her seat. "No, that's not all but it's all I wish to relive," and without a look back she marched up the stairs, slammed and locked her bedroom door and threw herself onto the cushiony surface.

Sophie stayed in her room for the next couple of weeks, Christmas had come and gone and she still refused to leave. Sirius wouldn't work as much, Remus would try and get her to come out as much as possible, but she wouldn't.

The only time she ever left her room was in the night, to take a meal to Mason. They still hadn't decided what to do with him. He was a nutcase really, every time they went in he'd be talking to himself, every time Sophie went near he'd try, once again, to make her change her mind. Up until it got to a point where she contemplated running away, thought about joining Greyback. All because of Fred, because he thought she was a monster, he wouldn't deny it.

"Sophie?" A knock came to the door. "Soph it's urgent." It wasn't Remus nor Sirius, however it was a girls voice. A sweet, quiet, girls voice. "Sophie you'll regret not saying goodbye."

Sophie's head shot up from under her cover, she aimed her wand at the door an muttered it open. Tonks, her hair dark and short, black clothes and tights walked in slowly and took a seat at the end of her bed. All the life seemed to have gone out of the once bubbly girl, all the hope and happiness faded.

"Say goodbye?" Sophie asked her head tilting in confusion. "What do you mean?"

"It's the Weasleys." Tonks said bluntly. "They're moving in with their aunt, they know Ron's with Harry, they know they've been betraying them. Turns out the ministry have been tracking them all for weeks."

"Oh," was all Sophie said. A deep, bitter silence enclosed the room for all of five minutes. Sophie kept her eyes down on the bed below her before standing and rummaging through her drawers.

"I'll let you change," Tonks said with a sad smile. "We're waiting downstairs for you, then we will head to the Burrow to say goodbye."

Sophie nodded and watched the girl exit her room, she headed to the bathroom where she brushed her teeth and tied her hair up into a messy sort of bun. She changed into a simple pair of pants and jumper before heading downstairs to meet the others.

"How are you?" Remus smiled wrapping an arm around her shoulder as they walked to the front door.

"Fine," she shrugged ducking from under it. "Are we apparating?"

"Yeah let's go," Sirius said taking ahold of Remus's hand, "all together?"

"You two go," Tonks smiled. "I'll side along with soph, you two go ahead."
