The second task was weeks ago now leaving the third and final task a couple months away, with no clue as to what it is Sophie trained in every magical aspect she could. From summoning charms, defensive charms and disarming charms, Harry taught her everything he thought capable for her to learn in little time.
April was just around the corner, literally it was the first of April tomorrow. That also means it was the twin's birthday and surprise surprise Sophie hadn't gotten them anything as of yet. Cedric agreed to head to Hogsmeade with her and grab something for them, so changing into a pair of jeans and a flannel top Sophie rushed out of her dorm and down into the common room.
"Where are you going in such a rush?" Harry laughed as he watched Sophie stumble down the last step.
"No time to talk." She huffed jumping up and down throwing her small boots over her feet.
"Clearly." Ron chortled.
"I'm going to Hogsmeade, I'd say I'd be back by lunch but don't count on it." She grumbled wrapping her coat around her.
"Why are you going to Hogsmeade?" Hermione asked. "Can't you go tomorrow."
"It's Sunday tomorrow." Sophie replied.
"And?" Hermione said raising an eyebrow.
"I'll let you think about that for a minute." She laughed heading for the portrait.
"Oh right." Ron gasped. "I never get them anything anyway."
"What are you talking about?" Harry asked.
"It's April Fools!" Sophie yelled exiting the common room.
"Your up early." Cedric laughed, waiting outside the common room leaning along the bottom of the staircase. "You ready?"
"No." Sophie shook her head as they began walking down the corridor. "I have no clue what to get ether of them."
She was right, she had no clue what to get them. They spent all day in and out of the same shop's only stopping at The Three Broomsticks once to take a break. At first she thought getting them both something from Zonko's would be great but once she entered the large joke shop there was nothing their that they didn't already have. She went from clothes shops to casual shops searching for the best gift but nothing caught her eye. Cedric told her multiple times to just settle for something sweet but it was no use. Sophie was determined to get them something nice, after Fred's Christmas present, the necklace she still wore she needed to get something he would like.
"How about Quidditch?" Cedric asked as they stopped outside;
Spintwitches sporting needs
"Thats right!" Sophie squealed. "Come one." She grabbed the boys arm and rushed over to the shop inside.
The shop was filled head to toe with all sorts of Quidditch related stuff. They had uniforms, jerseys, broomsticks, seekers gloves, Quidditch foot wear, Beaters bats and much more. The first thing that caught Sophie's eye was the brand new, cherry red Beaters bat.
'This Cherry bat is the newest of it's make accompanied by it's twin, only in a different colour. This colour is golden although they look different they are very much the same. It's the lightest bat in the wizarding world but with the charms placed on it, it can knock a Bludger over 200 feet away. It is covered with the unbreakable charm so no matter what it won't gain any damage. It also won't lose you, if you are in need of the bat and can not see it anywhere it will find you easily. Also available for personalisation (Ask at desk.)'
"Ooh look." Sophie gawped at the bat in its glass box. It was standing out above all of the other bats in the most newest case and it was wrapped in a red ribbon to match it's colour.
