Defence against the Dark Arts was the final exam, they had completed everyone of them but and it was after dinner. Of course they weren't looking forward to this as much as they weren't the others but having to sit in the Great Hall with Umbridge for an hour didn't make the task at hand any easier.
"I just want this year to be over already." Sophie complained on their way down to the hall, she was walking beside Hermione, Harry and Ron considering Fred and George were nowhere to be seen and Luna and Neville had already left the common room.
"I know." Harry agreed. "I never thought i'd say this but i can't wait for summer." He palmed his face as they passed through the entrance hall.
"Good luck guys." Hermione whispered as they walked to the front of the class to take a seat amongst the desk.
Sophie and Hermione sat right at the front whilst Ron and Harry sat beside each other, directly behind the girls. It wasn't long until to short, stubbly teacher who ( as usual ) was dressed head to toe in pink made her way into the hall.
"I hope you all put your best efforts into this exam." She giggled her high pitch laugh as she made her way down the hall beside the row of tables. "You have an hour, you may begin."
Sophie opened her pot of ink before dipping the quills tip in quickly, the first couple of questions were easy. It was only when the girl turned her page when a loud thud came from outside, thinking nothing of it she carried on with her work, until the noise came again. She turned around slowly to face the door which was open wide as did everybody else.
thud
She was confused at first, as were all the other students but then she remembered what Fred had told her in the library about not counting on her DADA exam.
thud
The noise grew louder and the teachers face stiffened, she hopped down and waddle towards the exit quickly, trying to find out who or what was disturbing her exam.
thud
She was at the door now, she peered left to right but by the look on her face nobody was to be seen. A small light emerged from around the corner and sparked in front of the furious teachers face.
"I hate to break it to you Mione but don't count on completing the exam" Sophie whispered over to the girl who was straightening her papers.
"I wouldn't count on you finishing it" she smiled. "I already have."
"You've already finished it." Sophie's jaw dropped, it had only been ten minutes no way this girl had just completed a seven page exam in that time. "I-
thud
"What is that noise." Ron said through gritted teeth obviously annoyed at not being able to concentrate.
"I think your brothers are coming."
And before anyone could reply to Sophie's comments two red headed figures flew straight into the Great Hall on brooms with fireworks in hand. "Hello!" One of them yelled launching the firework up and watching in awe as it exploded above the students.
The pair whized around the room causing as much disruption as possible as Umbridge attempted to chase them around the hall. All the students cheered and praised the twins for getting them out of their exam and aggravating the teacher they all had grew to hate.
"Get down here now!" The toad like teacher shrieked pointing up at the two.
"You ready?" George bellowed to his brother who stuck a thumb up in the air, a large cheeky smile playing on his lips.
