Sophie had been cooped up in her room all morning the next day, not because she was feeling upset or lonely no. Sirius's words really helped yesterday about her parents. It was something she was afraid to admit, her parents not wanting her but Sirius made it clear that that wasn't their intention. No she was actually in her room because she had started a book, one Cedric had gifted her.

'Never let me go'

She was well aware that her friends were coming to stay with them for the rest of summer, something to do with the order and Harry would be joining them at the end of the week. Sophie was excited to see her friends again after a long painful summer but she never actually wrote back to any of them so she was quite nervous. She'd imagined they would be cross with her but Remus had told her differently when he came to check on her this morning.

Whether they knew she was staying at Grimmauld place or not, she was happy that she was going to see them today. Hearing a loud bang coming from the kitchen and a few voices trailing after it a smile came to her face when she began to make the voices out.

'Honestly Ronald your so clumsy sometimes you know that right' Hermione seethed.

'You just need to watch your bloody cat!' Ron argued back probably looking down at Crookshanks. He always hated that cat.

'My old friend.' Sirius laughed making strange cat noises. Funny considering he was a dog.

Sophie closed her book, placing a small bookmark at her page before jumping of her bed and making a break for the door. She opened it quietly trying everything not to give away her entrance and ventured down the old staircase.

'Remus, Sirius!' Molly yelled with a large grin enveloping the two men into a hug. 'How is she?'

'She's actually doing quite well Molly.' Remus replied.

'Who?' Ginny asked in confusion.

"Me!" Sophie jumped down the last step and twirled into the kitchen, seeming as happy as ever in the past couple of months.

"Sophie!!" Ginny screamed enhancing on the girl quickly and wrapping her arms around her. "I've missed you sooooo much." She sang.

"I've missed you too Gin." Sophie laughed squeezing the girl back just as hard.

"Sophie!" Hermione squealed joining in on the hug which was shortly followed by Ron and George.

"Have enough room for me?" Fred chuckled making an appearance behind the hectic scene. Sophie immediately let go of all her friends and ran towards the tall ginger, she jumped into his arms rapidly and he reacted the same. Lifting her from the floor and spinning her around before placing her back down and placing a gentle kiss on her forehead.

"Something I'm missing." Remus asked with an eyebrow raised as he watched his god daughter squeal with happiness.

"Nothing at all." She smiled slyly before hugging Fred again, keeping her feet on the floor this time.

"How are you dear?" Molly fussed shooing her son off of the girl and wrapping her into a bear hug herself. "Feeling alright? Eating enough? Drinking loads? What've you been up too?"

"I'm alright Mrs Weasley." Sophie laughed tapping the women's shoulders. "Honestly."

"She's been reading all morning." Sirius rolled his eyes. "Never enjoyed reading me I don't know how you do it."

"That's because you don't grasp the concept of the books Padfoot." Remus tutted taking his seat at the kitchen table.

"Yeah Sirius grasp the concept." Sophie winked with a smile ignoring the glare of Remus. "You have to understand the book to enjoy it, make yourself feel like your observing that's what I do."
