'Are we sure she's going to be okay?'

'She's alive if that's what you mean?'

'But is she okay?'

'We can't tell yet, until it happens we won't know for sure.'

'And how long do we have?'

'A week.'

'When is she going to wake up?'

'I don't know Padfoot.'

'Do you think, you know. It's happened to her?'

'I don't know.'

The pair had been bickering for the past two weeks, since the ministry incident. Harry had gone back to the Dursley's for the summer as the year had ended. Dumbledore was given back his title as headmaster at Hogwarts school and everyone knew Voldemort was back in power, for good. The Weasleys had been round to check on the two, and Sophie although she had been unconscious since her hit at the ministry.

"Stop yelling!" Sophie groaned throwing herself upwards out of her bed. She was in her room at Grimmauld place, her empty grey walls and small wooden desk sat beside the barred window. The only thing was, she was alone. But she had heard the voices like they were shouting right down her ear. She knew full when who they were, Remus and Sirius. But what was they talking about and why could she hear them so clearly.

She threw her quilt to the side, rolling her legs over and standing up from the bed only to be hit with the feeling of nausea, feeling like she was going to vomit she sat down again slowly. Her fingers found their way to her temples are she rubbed circles around them trying to soothe her aching headache. Her mouth was dry and her stomach was practically begging for food, her insides felt heavy and her bones ached as she breathed. Her chest rising slower then ever, her scar was killing her, throbbing through her whole forehead.

There was a glass of water on her bedside table that she took and downed with three gulps. She heard footsteps come closer to her room, they traveled swiftly on the wooden floors and her door knob twisted hesitantly.

Her head shot to the door before she hid herself beneath her sheets, gluing her eyes closed again she pretended to be asleep as she felt a presence stand over her.

"I swore I heard her say something." Remus pouted looking down at his goddaughter.

Her hair was messy from the lack of care, who knows how long she had been out for. She didn't smell the nicest ether, that was something strange she could smell her scent intensely, something she had never remembered doing before.

"Come one Moony, we'll check on her later." Sirius whispered patting the boys shoulder before they both left the room together.

Sophie heard them close the door and descend down the stairs, right into the kitchen where they sat and talked among themselves. She could hear them as clear as day.

The girl rose up once more and completing her mission on getting out of the bed she walked over to her wardrobe and opened it slightly. On the inside was a mirror, glued to the wood staring right at her. She looked at her reflection for a second before tears plucked in her eyes.

A large, olive toned scar imprinted itself down her face, from the corner of her smaller scar over her eyelid and stopping at the bottom corner of her lip. It looked new, but it had completely scabbed over, it was nothing but a purple ish olive streak tattooing her face. Her hair was still up in its pony tail from when she had ventured to the ministry, the ends sticking out and standing on its edges all over her head. Her lips were chapped and her eyes were red and puffy as if she had been crying. She inhaled for what felt like a whole minute before exhaling again.

She looked like crap.

The girl left her bedroom, walking straight for her bathroom she turned the hot tap on and watched as it trickled down the shower head rapidly. Lifting one foot at a time she stepped into the shower and let the nice warm water conquer her. She tilted her head back slowly under the drops and closed her eyes peacefully.

A large claw like hand struck her face swiftly, a warm sensation oozed from her head and her eyes ran with tears. A horrendous amount of pain soured through her body as she watched the dog like man, she had known as 'Greyback' disappear into a cloud of dark mist.

Her head jolted up from the waterfall and she felt tears whisk down her cheeks. She washed as quick as possible before jumping out of the shower, wrapping her body in a towel she made her way back into her room and sat down on her bed again. What had happened? What was happening?

"Soph?" A soft voice spoke as a knock came to the door. "Sophie can I come in?" Her godfather asked.

"One second." The girl spoke her first words in weeks, her voice croaky and sore. She jumped over to her wardrobe pulling out sweat pants and a jumper before changing quickly. "Come in." She whispered as she sat back down on her bed.

Remus rushed into the room and over to the girl, a guilty look on his face as he engulfed her into the tightest of hugs. "How are you feeling?" He asked cupping the girls face looking into her eyes. "Hungry? Headache? Stomach ache? Is your throat dry, do you need anything?"

"Remus." The girl managed to chuckle at his antics. "My head is pounding like I've been hit with a ton of bricks, I feel like my insides are turning outwards. What happened." She said bluntly, not bothering to hide what she felt. Remus knew her too well for the lies.

"I'm so sorry Sophie it's all my fault." He voiced dropping his head in his hands as he knelt down beside the bed. "I should have helped you, I should have done something."

"Remus, elaborate." The girl said grabbing her godfathers hands. "Tell me what happened please, I just want to know the truth."

"He attacked you." He whispered. "Greyback, he scratched you. Gave you that." Remus nodded to the girls face, initiating the scar lay upon it.

The girls heart dropped. He did the same thing years ago to the man stood in front of her, but he had also done it to many others who didn't fear the same fait as Remus. "So what does that mean, am I-"

"I don't know yet." He shook his head. "I'm sorry Sophie I really am."

"I don't blame you remus, look I'm okay now." She said standing up and patting herself down, although she did feel a bit dizzy and drowsy, she wasn't gone. Not yet anyway.

"No, you don't know that. Non of us do that's the problem. We can't find out until." He paused sitting down on the girls bed. "Until the next full moon."

I erm, not caught up on basic werewolf knowledge. Everything may not be correct but you know :)
