Chapter 25

Camila's POV
"So you think she will be okay with us being together?" I asked Lauren through the phone
"I hope so! she didn't say she wouldn't allow it so I guess that's a good sign" Lauren told me reassuringly
"I hope you're right, I don't know what I would do" i admitted
"Neither" I heard her say sadly
"I best be off now, it's really late" I told Lauren
"Yeah me too"
"I love you so much Lauren, I hope you like your present in the morning"
"I love you too babe, I'm sure I'll love it. I hope you like mine too, sorry it's not much though" she apologised
"Don't worry about it, it's the thought that counts" I reminded her
"Yeah I know, right goodnight camz, love you"
"️Night Lo, love you too" I replied then we both hung up. It was 3am on christmas morning and I was feeling really anxious for the day to start. I love christmas but today I was quite nervous. Maybe the fact I was going to be coming out to all the fans and the people I love the most had something to do with it.
I got to sleep pretty quickly but was rudely awaken at 6:30 by a very excited Sofi jumping on me screaming 'it's christmas'
"Camila!! Wake up!! It's christmas!!" She shouted at me.
I saw my mum and dad stood at my door laughing at the younger girls reaction and I couldn't help but laugh along. I don't usually like being waken up early in the morning but christmas was the only exception.
Me and Sofi ran downstairs to the living room where the presents were all stacked. Of course Sofi's presents looked like she had more spent on her but that's because I'm about quality not quantity.
My parents didn't even have a chance to get downstairs before Sofi started ripping the paper off her presents. She was amazed with the set of 10 plastic high heels that was in the first box.
I opened my first present to see that it was a beautiful set of earrings, the next was a jumper that I was dying to buy myself. I had many books bought for me and then my final gift, which was obviously the most expensive was left.
I slowly ripped off the paper to see that my parents had bought me the newest MacBook. I didn't really have a list this year, only the books was that I had on it really, I didn't want any thing specific so this was a shock for me.
"Woah! You didn't need to get me this" I told my parents who were looking at me with beaming smiles.
"You deserve it" they told me. I didn't know what that meant, it was either one of two things that I can think of but I didn't want to think about it at the minute because I wanted to get negative thoughts out of my head for today.
Sofi finished opening her presents from 'santa' and we was now allowed to open our gifts from friends.
Unfortunately for Sofi she only had one gift because at her age not many kids gave out presents, but I had one from every of of my band mates.
I started with ally's. I gently tore the paper to reveal a red jumper, only the back was showing but when I turned it around i couldn't help but smile. The hyper read "thing one"
I held it up and chucked to myself, then I saw a little piece of paper fall out
"Guess who has the other;)" the little note said. I automatically knew then that the other had gone to Lauren. I folded it up neatly and picked up my next gift. This was from normani and I knew she would get me a beautiful present. I opened up the paper to reveal a box, inside the box was a little glass stand which read "true friends are hard to find, difficult to leave, and impossible to forget" I smiled at the thoughtful gift that mani had purchased me and thought of a place where I could put it in my bedroom.
I placed it to the side for the time being and picked up Dinah's present.
She told me when she gave it to me to open the small one first. I was scared to open this because Dinah is known for her practical jokes so i cautiously opened the paper and took what was inside.
I looked at it and shook my head in disbelief. I could feel my cheeks blushing so I quickly placed it on my pile but my mum noticed
"What have you got there mila?" She asked me
"Oh nothing just a gift from dinah" I simply said and before I knew it Sofi took it from my grasp.
"It saysssss... Fanny floss" Sofi proudly read out loud.
At this time my cheeks were definitely bright red and I hid it in the ripped up wrapping paper.
The laughing of my parents could have been heard from the next street down. Next time I see dinah she is going to be dead.
After all the laughing and humiliation I opened the other present from dinah. It was a book and the title said "you are my best friend, here's why..." I flicked through the pages to see loads of both good and bad pictures of me and dinah as well as quotes and reasons as to why I am her best friend.
I had 2 gifts left which were from Lauren. I slowly opened the bigger one and saw that she had gotten me a cute white teddy bear with a little red bow around its neck. I couldn't help but smile as I admired it. I noticed that she had gotten it made because of what was on the tag, I looked at the eyes to see that they were bright green just like her eyes. I gave it a quick big before opening my final gift. This was a smaller packaging so it didn't take long to open. It looked like a box for a piece of jewellery so I opened it up to see a beautiful necklace. It was the white part of a ying yang symbol. I gathered she had the other half. I took the necklace out of the box so I could have a better look at it. I studied if closely to see that she had gotten 'LJ' carved in small lettering at the bottom which was almost unnoticeable. I put it around my neck and let it hang onto my chest. The cold back of it making me shiver.
I smiled to myself as I took my phone out my pocket to wish my girlfriend a happy christmas.

Sorry this story is going on about christmas when it's literally just passed. I was originally going to cram it all in one chapter on Christmas Day but it was a really shitty chapter so I have done it again:p
