Chapter 31

Camila's POV
Lauren and her family had been around my house for quite some time now and it was hard for me and Lauren to keep it on a low. We both decided to take Sofi up to her bed room and watch a film because she was getting tired.
"Can we watch finding nemo?!" Sofi asked excitedly
"Sure thing" I answered
I set up the DVD player while lauren and Sofi made a little den out of her blankets, cushions and teddies she had on her bed. Sooner or later we was all cuddled up on Sofi's little single bed watching a Disney film. To be honest it wasn't how I though my New Year's Eve would be like but as long as I was with Lauren nothing will beat it.

We was a good half an hour into the film and Sofi decided she wanted a drink so I went down and grabbed a glass of water from the kitchen for my sister. As I made my way up the stairs I heard Sofi ask Lauren something
"Lauren, do you love my sister?"
I stood near the door frame just so I could hear but they couldn't see me, I couldn't help but be curious as to what Lauren was going to say
"Everyone loves your sister Sofi" Lauren answered her
"I know that, but do you?" God for a young age this girl doesn't half question you!
"Yes I do, I love her so much" Lauren admitted
"Do you love her like my mummy loves my daddy?" She yet again asked another question
"I guess I do yeah" she said and i could tell she had a big grin on her face just by the way she spoke
"Aww, I think you and camila are cute" Sofi admitted which made Lauren laugh
"Well I think you're cute you little monster" Lauren replied then all of a sudden Sofi burst into fits of laughter so I guessed that she was being tickled which would then allow me to walk in without it being too obvious I was stood listening.
I walking in the room and Lauren and Sofi was play fighting, well it was mainly Sofi being tickled to death so I placed the drinks down and went to help my little sister out.
"Camilaaaaa hel-l-p meeeee!" Sofi screamed breathlessly.
I ran up behind Lauren and started tickling my girlfriend. I managed to get Lauren of Sofi and onto the floor where I was able to get in a better position to 'attack' her. Sofi sat watching while she caught her breath as I had straddled Lauren and was now sat on her.
"Hello there camz" she said with a smirk
"Hello lolo" I said and raised my eyebrow
"I quite like this, your stomach is very comfy" I added and lowered myself down so our faces were close and I was now lying on her
"Sofi's in here you know camz" Lauren warned. I looked up at my little sister and her eyes were directly on us
"Well I think she already knows thanks to you, you soppy douche" I said and playfully slapped her face. She laughed and locked onto my eyes, it didn't last long because Sofi interrupted
"Are you guys gonna kiss?"
Me and Lauren couldn't help but laugh at Sofi's comment. I sat up right so Lauren could sit up but I was still sat on her knee, my legs wrapped around her waist. "Well do you want us to?" I asked her
"I don't mind, you can if you want I won't look" she said and covered her eyes with her hand
"No peeking" i playfully warned her, and before i knew it Lauren bad crashed her lips onto mine.
It didnt last as long I hoped but it was better than nothing. When the kiss ended I looked up at Sofi who had the biggest grin on her face ever.
"I thought you had you eyes closed?!" I questioned
"I couldn't help it, you're too cute" Sofi exclaimed.
I couldn't believe my own younger sister was saying that me and Lauren was cute, and she was one of the first to know about one relationship, it's not like she has anyone to tell anyway, and even if she did everyone will know by tonight any way.

Sofi had fell asleep half way through the film but we carried on to the end considering its a favourite of both of ours. After the film had finished we tucked Sofi in her bed and went down stairs to see that there was only a few minutes to 2017.
"Woah camz, 5 minutes left, are you nervous?" Lauren asked me
"Kind of, I mean I am because there's obviously gonna be some haters and that but then there will be the amazing support from the Camren shippers. I also can't keep this a secret any longer, it's about time we came out" i explained
"Yeah I know how you feel" she said
"Let's go outside and watch the fire works" I said to Lauren.
We walked out side, hand in hand, as 'friends' do and sat on a bench as we waited for the display
"Hey you" I head Lauren say. I looked over to her and she poked my nose gently
"You sure are cute" she said with a big smirk
"Says you, you're cuter than me" I stated
"Pfff no! Honestly camila, ask anyone you're definitely the cuter one out the both of us" she corrected
"Then what are you?" I asked
"I don't know, what am I, you tell me?" She asked curiously
"You're the.... Sexy one" I said with a grin
"Shut up" she said and laughed at my comment.
"1 minute!" I heard my mum shout from the door.
"Woah, this year sure has gone quick"
"Yeah it has, but I'm sure 2016 will be just as good and now we're together we can make the most of it" Lauren told me. I smiled to myself at laurens little comment, then she stood up and took my hand as we walked over to where the group of people were who was watching the fireworks.
I saw my mum out the corner of my eye and I briefly saw her mouth the words
"I love you" across to me
"10-9-8" everyone started to count down
"This is it" Lauren said and gently squeezed my hand
"Let's do this" I said and gave her a smile
"5-4-3-2-1! Happy new year" everyone shouted and before I knew it Lauren and my mouths collided and formed a kiss I had been dying for. It wasn't rough and it wasn't to gentle. It was just right, one of the most perfect kisses i have ever experienced with her
"I love you" i said in between kisses
"I love you too" Lauren replied and she broke the kiss
I looked over at me mum again and she gave me the biggest smile ever and looked like the proudest mum alive.
Lauren whipped out her phone which reminded me to do the same. Time to announce it to the fans
"Happy new year lovlies!" Was my tweet along with a picture of me and Lauren tonight.
Laurens tweet was similar with a different picture of us and finally the girls gave me and Lauren the honours to send out message on the group account because we had a certain reason to do so.
"Happy new year you guys! We have a surprise for you...#camren" Was tweeted along with a collage of camren pictures which included a couple of us kissing
"They're gonna go crazy" Lauren laughed and I couldn't help but agree.
2016 sure is going to be a good year, I can feel it.

Sorry ive been slacking recently, I know I need to get my ass in gear so this chapters a little longer than my previous ones
